Hi Everyone,

 

I was wondering which one would be better a higher refine level... Dark Rose or Crimson Revolver... as I read that at higher refinement levels guns increased ranged damage damage is almost neglected (so it doesn't make much sense to go over +9), as result of these I guess that crimson revolver would be better as at higher refine increases directly the attack? any different opinion?

My +15 Crimson beats +13 Kingbird Altar Ares by 1-2k Firedance damage. 

 

Haven't tried Dark Rose yet, but already got 193 aspd with Crimson... 

 

So far nothing beats +15 Crimson Rev.

It may be close now but since we can enchant it now with some  gear combinations or almost all a EA8+ dark rose should beat a +15 crimson not 100% sure tho 375 atk is no joke tho... thats why Crimson beats everything... i would get a highly refined crimson  tho unless i had problem with capping aspd

I never tested this but i think Crimson Revolver is better, we already have a LOT of stuff that gives ranged damage and it starts to be less useful when you stack a lot of it, while atk doesnt.

 

But it's ragnarok online, we can never be sure, if someone has a +14~+15 Double Liberation with EA 10, i have a +14 Double Liberation Crimson Revolver, we can do some tests.

 

If we can find the answer, we will never need to spend in a pistol again cause the ''new'' rock ridge Calf Pistol looks really bad ( unless they make it able to enchant).

From the info at divine-pride and the one posted in the forums, honestly it’ll be the BiS for sure. At +14 it gives 40% range against Dark Rose’s ea10 at 35% and it has damage mods for fire dance. Even if by some miracle you were able to get ea12 (not even sure if possible) it would still be lower at 39%. The calf deathadder being a lvl 4 gun vs lvl 3 would also provide more damage overall. I doubt we can enchant it because it’ll be too op but if we can, Rebellion class would get such an upgrade.

That all said, it’ll probably take some time for it to arrive though lol.

what? that's kinda misleading honestly

 

should be +275 atk @15 

 

i guess you just added the base atk for c.revolver (100atk)

 

ill go for a decent enchanted burning rose (e4ea4), something like 31% range (@200 base atk) vs 275atk (@100 base atk)

 

anyway still the rule aplies (diminishing returns)

 

if you plan to go 120 int seraph build rebel then that should put the burning rose on top of crimson there

 

but for fire rain i guess it's obvious

you talking about the wrong weapon bro. They were discussing dark rose not burning rose.

Btw, i myself stick to dark rose at the moment. I like the sharp enchants since it’s pretty damn hard to get crit to over 100 on a rebel without using FAW fatal10, since i prefer using FAWea10 to never need switch garments for all occasions. Great damage on skills and still not bad on crits

That’s the best part of this rebel. One weapon and equipment run thru everything, just swap armor for element. Double sniping dark rose sharp5ea5 and i’m at 101 crit too.
