Edit : General Data Protection Regulation. The date that its enforced which is 25th May seems to coincide with the enforced date as well.

This will also affect all Warpportal Websites including the support system. We are consulting the powers that be regarding what other information can be shared.

As I mentioned in a previous post, remember the GMs you see on this forum are not the ones who were involved in making this decision. They were simply the bearer of bad news. Please keep your anger in check before you think about lashing out at them for just giving an announcement. I'm sure this is more serious than we can comprehend.

The fact that it was a preferable business move to shut down all EU services rather than make changes to comply with GDPR (like every other international company did) makes me wonder what WarpPortal is lacking in privacy/security.

Not sure how it goes with concent but hey    Its new and there's no precedent on this or how to even comply. 

 

Maybe when the framework has been established and then WP / Gravity can re-access if its possible to comply and re-open their game to EU after this.

 

For now, its just too dangerous.
