It appears to be a one sided beef from Thor. The only reason most people from Chaos didn't want a merge is because of the historical data from past merges that show a decline in population once a merge has been completed.

I was not playing iRO when they did the first merge but i played bRO and they did some merges.

 

Overall the game kept the population as far as i know ( bRO doesnt have numbers showing when you log in), a lot of players asked for this.

 

In the current state of iRO, it's just a matter of time, now with the leave of Europe, i really doubt a merge would give more problems ( sure, i can be wrong).

 

You can just check what a LOT of iRO players do, a lot of people like me, log-in 1 hour, maybe a bit more per week and that's all, this game needs something to bring old players back ( we know RO is not getting new players).

 

As much as a Merge is a risky idea, what do iRO- Chaos have to offer and keep the current playerbase? 

 

• We barely get updates, when we get it's only half.

 

• Extremely P2W.

 

• S*** Economy.

 

• Broken and Empty PvP/WoE

 

The game needs more players, especially if those players are willing to play WoE/PvP, i, you and no one have any idea what a possible merge can do but definitely it's something to think about it .

 

P.S: It's important for Thor players as well, i doubt people like to play a 200- 600 players game and it's a snowball ( They see the population decreasing and lose their will to play).

All jokes aside, both server have their fair share of toxicity. Useless drama? Ignore them, why are you so triggered? Although I won't deny that a lot of Thor players are too prideful, and I apologize on their behalf. But thinking about it, a lot of you are also prideful? You're letting the dwindling population fall further just because of those things? The only fair argument I've read so far came from Nirvanna which used previous merges as examples as to why not to.

Although I don;t really vote for the merge as well. Just let each server be, No merge, just let it go so I can finally be free of this curse. I can't seem to quit RO.

Valkyrie was doing pretty good before the merge, hell, Animosity loved the scene so much they actually MOVED all their characters to that server for the better scene (only for like a short SHORT time after for the merge to occur).

Well, i personally always welcome more players to the servers because that mean more people playing make the server more alive ...

 

and i think a keyboard warrior good for helping your blood in check you know ? and i think the biggest keyboard warrior was from my country, and i already immune to that

Animosity moved over because Ymir/old Chaos's WoE scene was dead. Not specifically cause Valk had a great scene.

Well yeah, but Valk was awesome when I played it. So I am a little biased. Still, two times a merge has occured, in both instances a lot of people quit.

Back then, I think Valk had 3.5k and I heard the other two barely had 500ish. Numerically, we can roughly know which server was the best among the three.
