Well, considering people have already submitted tickets andn were told it was "confidential" and they couldn't say... I wouldn't get my hopes up.

 

I couldn't comprehend why such information should be kept confidential. Shouldn't players have the right to know if their years of investment will be nullified... :(

 

 

VModPeppermint also can access the payment area though they are getting blocked

@WP/Gravity: Could you please tell what information you will keep?
My understanding: If you keep some information you need to comply with GDPR for european based accounts, although you deactivate them and deleted most of the information. There is no different in GDPR between all information or just some information. Your statement says you will still save account data after May 25th... so you have to observe GDPR, don't you?

Please inform european based players what information you will keep after May 25th.
According to GDPR, european based players will have the right for information what (of their) data you save.
Starting on May 25th, I think they could send an official request for this information if you do not provide it by yourself(?)


I think everyone should contact wp support asking this.



[edited to add; a little birdie told me to submit an official request in before the 25th since its still not "clear" if its possible to contact warpportal through the normal ways from the 25th.]

Certainly not Japan, Gravity will want to hold on to the birthplace of such profitable loot boxes, plus GungHo already had to update their privacy laws back in May 2017.

I've just asked, and it was a big fat no. You might wanna try again though.

 

I don't understand why the staff wouldn't confirm where our accounts were made. A reply like "If you are the account owner, you should remember where your accounts were made." is retarded. I don't remember where I made every single account! I'm pretty sure I've made a few while on holiday, I just don't remember which and when! Damnit.. >___>

Aw unfortunate for the eu passerby's who just happen to register their account during their stint at eu gets purged too. I guess u can delete the chars and make a new account with the same names and transfer items, given ur willing to start over from novice + forgive wp for such purge.

 

I'm surprised there's still uncertainty on 'is my account affected?' or even the amount of people who still don't know about the ban.

I guess this thread will be locked after the purging.

This is WP and Gravity's fault at all. An ignoring on the laws made the situation went worse and EU players are innocent victims. :(

there wont be anymore answers, the pathetic "accounts will be closed" on p much every question from us is what we get, underwhelming and disappointing, til the end, thats what WP is and thats it what the remaining people on this server can expect, just more of the past 10 years. soontrademark iks deh.

Would have prefered to go down together with everyone when they (inevitably) close the server instead being thrown out, but well thats life :mellow:

 

To anyone else who usually made payments with Paysafecards like me: They won't refund. Reasons? None given. Warpportal and Xsolla are passing the buckets between each other. I guess they will do this until the problems solve itself on the 25th.
