1. Will my accounts just be disabled for me in the UK to log into or deleted?
2. When the UK leaves the EU will I then be able to log into my account?

I came back today to the forum... and...Lol... banning the entire Europe. What a professional move. This just shows how staff cares about the players.  They prefer to let hackers run around the game (coz they spend money) and ban Europe just to ignore privacy compliant... Really no words about the management.

But to all the non-European players: guys quit this game and spend your money/time somewhere else... This time is Europe, next time will be USA or Russia (and then shut down), it's just a matter of time.

True. And  i makes me very sad to see how some ppl behave after this lol, like pls dont ban me, plss plsss. Just move on guys.

I think the UK are backing the GDPR regulations irregardless of what EU decided so Gravity would still need to let UK users have the freedom to remove their information and so on. It's something they  certainly could do though, the law isn't the death sentence the company seems to think it is, but they've just chosen not to deal with it. I guess because the game is just not profitable enough for them to invest time in looking into what they'd need to do, but that doesn't bode well for the future of the game in the long run even if they shirk this investment to save in the short term.

Some quotes from a UK article ( http://www.wired.co....mary-fines-2018 ):

"Having larger fines is useful but I think fundamentally what I'm saying is it's scaremongering to suggest that we're going to be making early examples of organisations that breach the law or that fining a top whack is going to become the norm." She adds that her office will be more lenient on companies that have shown awareness of the GDPR and tried to implement it, when compared to those that haven't made any effort.

When implemented, GDPR will have a varying impact on businesses and organisations: for instance, not every company will require a data protection officer. To help prepare for the start of GDPR, the ICO has created a 12-step guide. The ICO says that "many of the GDPR’s main concepts and principles are much the same as those in the current Data Protection Act (DPA)". It adds for businesses already complying with the current data protection law, its highly likely they will be meeting many of the GDPR principles. As well as this guidance, the ICO says it is creating a phone service to help small businesses prepare for GDPR. The service will provide answers about how small companies can implement GDPR procedures and starts at the beginning of November 2017.

Greetings Everyone,

Please note that the FAQ has been updated with information pertaining to refunds as follows:

Due to the number of refunds being distributed, the rollout date for when these will begin has been moved to May 15th. We encourage any players who wish to expedite this process to send a ticket to our support team at support.warpportal.com, and request a refund so we can make sure to get all refunds distributed as quickly as possible.

Please note that if you are from Europe and have registered an account that does not state the affected region by the block you may still receive a refund, but the account will be flagged as from Europe and disabled.

Thank you for your patience thus far everyone! We are awaiting further updates.

Please just let support know that you were playing through Steam and not through the WarpPortal client. If you are still experiencing issues please send me a PM with your ticket number so I can assist.
