There are certain ranger and rebell non stop KS  people in low ti.

100% isnt by accident,constantly  arrow storm or move to you and round trip.

even you PM them, they wont stop.

RO's rec can capture what happen, but can it capture name too?

and since the rec take real long like 10 mins+ to capture 5-10 times KS, does GM really has time to watch it?  (much faster if just post in airstrike.. but different target)

Dont bother to pm them ... even if they reply ? you wont be happy about it LOL ...

As far as I know, the recording function will only record the name IF you managed to put your mouse cursor over the player's name.
When you replay the file, the name will only appear at the exact moment you hovered your mouse on the player when you recorded it.
Example:
You hovered your mouse to Player A not until 30s has passed while recording. You just ignored Player B
When you replay the file, the Player A's name will not appear up until the 30s mark even if you hold your mouse constantly on the player.

Player B's name will never appear in the replay since you didn't check his name.

I'm sick of them as well. I'll storm gust a mob and get ks'd almost every single time by some fly winging Rebel or Ranger who comes back seconds later to ks me again.    This has been happening everyday now.

You play Ranger or Rebel yourself. They're pretty strong in PvM too.

 

Otherwise, dont bother too much. Just wing and find new mobs, sadly.

I suggest WP disable wings in TI maps

Some player are just naturally-born talented  KSer while some other become KSer bcuz they got ks-ed,a lot .

Not to defend a KSer, but how do you exactly avoid KSing as a rebel? It doesn't aim and it takes one button to wipe a mob half your screen. Payon is a pretty small map and gets quite hectic. 

Imagine running past a party and small mobs get next to you. If you shoot you'll wipe the other party mobs also. 

 

Arrowstorm sometimes they cast on a mob at the edge of the screen and it kills the mob belong to someone else. 

 

Maybe solution is to change the map? Perhaps malangdo culvert instead.

I am not a ranger/rebel class and usual try to respect other people gameplay on my warlock/gene/any class i have, but:

This behavior is unaceptable too, and you can be reported for this as ill-mannered activity.

So far I know, the rules of the game do not limit a player to kill a monster, as noted before, the TI mobs (and all around the Ragnarok world) are free for all, am I correct? and players can't "hold" or claim mobs. I tried to find out in all the user experience manual and guidelines on the WP documents, or told by a GM but cant find out. just saying, there is no rules of conduct regardless to this so often activity. It must be, but if it exist, ppl will complain for everything. Of course, people must follow the common sense, but then there are this kind of ppl who like to do this KS thing.

 

intopic: The best you can do its try to camp (if you are alone or with a small/weak party). maybe you can't figure out but, these flying people helps you to finish your counts if you are in a camping party. Killing mobs around helps the respawn on all the map, include your location. If they come to you and ks you, well, just be patient and they will go.

 

If they stay, just be polite and send him/her a PM. Some players may understand by words first than insults, and if you do the second one, you can be reported.

 

You can explore your skill tree and find better skills wich you maybe are not using or forgot about em. As wizard, I stop to use FireWall, but in certain situations, helps to block and kill mobs. take the example and try to change your way to play. Its funnier when you use all your habilities!

 

Be nice, be polite, and hope you will finish your counts soon.

On the replay and name of user, a GM staff has kindly informed me that you will need to hover your mouse over the character to have it appear in the recording.

So for turn-in and normal spawns, if a user is already engaged in combat with a mob, you cannot at any means kill steal. Of course unless they request help.

this isnt  ks by edge of their AOE.(I can live with that)   they just cast on you as center.

I remember WOW isnt this drama, somehow it know KS occur and punish you if this repeat too often.

Let's say we have two players, Player X is a person KSing and Player Y is you.

 

You record Player X KSing you. You spend time reporting this. Player X gets a 3 day ban.

 

By the time those 3 actions take place, Player X has already won. He made the most of his manuals and TIs because he broke the rules. Takes a 3 day break and is back at it again.

 

Tldr, just ignore it and get on with your day. It sucks a lot but you can't enforce anything and there is no real punishment for the crime, unless they suddenly decided to reverse the exp gained :U

Doing ks is legal, the last time i see someone get ban for doing ks (and macro) was when in iRO GMs implement Abyss Lake Turn ins, was a Biochemist+High Priest, doing lex+AB in every mob they found, after of that no one get really ban for that, GMs, CMs, Vmods can post whatever they want about "is agains the rules" but the true in game is so different and at this point where the game is already death there is no point to ban players in game for that kind of situation, so my options for you is:

Deal with it

payback: Stasis, Bloody Lust, etc

Pneuma

leveling outside gramps (yeah there are more maps than those ones)
