I have been playing and I enjoy the music of the game but everytime i change maps the Background Music turns off by itself and i have to type /bgm twice all the time to turn the Background Music on again, and that happens everytime I enter an other map. I went to gravity folder on my pc and ran as administrator Setup.exe and made sure that BGM Volume box is checked and Effect Volume also is checked and pressed ok, I even restarted my computer, nothing Worked.

What can I do to Fix my BGM to make sure it doesn't turn of by itself everytime I enter to an other map?

Pls help I have been having this problem for almost a year or more and it is extremely Annoying.

Good Luck for whoever reads this message.

The client contains a bug that causes the volume of the background music to be reset to the value stored in the file savedata\OptionInfo.lua minus 1 whenever your character moves to a new area or teleports. It's possible that this bug is related to your problem.

Please do the following:
  • Close any and all open clients.
  • Open the file <Ragnarök Online>\savedata\OptionInfo.lua, where <Ragnarök Online> represents the path to the client installation folder1, in a text editor such as Notepad.
  • Change the line CmdOnOffList["/bgm"] = <Integer> to the following:

    CmdOnOffList["/bgm"] = 1
  • Change the line OptionInfoList["Bgm_Volume"] = <Integer> to the following:

    OptionInfoList["Bgm_Volume"] = 31
  • Save your changes to the file.
  • Test whether the problem persists.
