The updates pending on Sakray are for the existing headgears, with the exception of Sura hat, all the others had to adhere to what they did before skill choice wise.

Small question with regard to double attack + critical... Does it miss during crit against high flee or MVPs with agi up? Because originally DA is HIT based. Does it show as 2 critical hits? or the same yellow text but with enhanced damage? I have no updated sakray client to test it out and would take ages to download. Thank you for those who can try it out and share their experience.

DB is already the go-to build for most RKs. The Community HG's reason to exist is to introduce or make unpopular builds somewhat useful.


Sura is unpopular, give him headgear.

Archbishop left behind meanwhile GX, Gene, RK, Wl hunt by themselves.

I wish the new shrine maiden could get ignore mdef like WL hat. Adding so many modifier to Magnus Exorcimuss with SMH and 2 valk drop but the damage couldn't pass high mdef monster/boss.

There are some bugged skills that cant be used or leveled up, like acid bomb or guillotine fist.

Perverse demon mask, magician's gloves, nightmare pyramid / nightmare clock tower cards combo exist for that very reason :pif:

 

I'd rather have new WL hat that works like new shrine maiden hat (boost their skills by 1% per base level), because wl got wider mdef pierce alternatives beyond above selected gears (Survivor Rod + Survivor Shoes, Lac Stick+Pororoca shoes)

Sakray Update

 

  • Fixed an issue with Sparrow Hat, Lyrica Hat, and Elemental Towel where Severe Rainstorm was not properly applying damage modifiers.

Community Headgear Update

 

Sea Captain Hat
Reduces the cooldown of Axe Boomerang by 1 second.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of Axe Boomerang and Axe Tornado by 40%.
 
Harvester Hat
Reduces the variable casting time of Cart Cannon by 100%.
Adds a chance of gaining Blood Sucker Seed, Explosive Mushroom Spore or Thorn Seed when a monster is killed.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of Cart Cannon by 15%.
 
Magician's Nightcap
Mdef + 10
Aspd + 5
Increases the damage of Cold Bolt, Fire Bolt and Lightning Bolt by 50%.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of Spell Fist by 10% per level of Double Bolt known.

eh what? there are bio5 hats for those unpopular skills like ib,wind cutter and HS,there is no db dmg increasing headgear,you don't make any sense!

All the proposals for Magician's Night Cap change that I saw involved giving it some mdef pierce, liked them much better than the current one.

 

Sorc skill points are precious and Double Bolt doesn't work with Spell Fist anyway, only with Hindsight/autocast, which also interfere with re-casting Spell Fist.

Nirvanna, I must have started my post before yours went up - what you suggest is a nice way to effectively boost Spell Fist dmg by 25% imo.

 

EDIT: Just noticed that the bolt multipliers are different on that too, that is a nice boost for picking up Double Bolt. Mah skill points though...

I think the Sea Captain Hat needs 1 more effect, SP Leech like the new propposed effect on Autumn Headband for Rangers, SP leech can help a lot. The Sea Captain Hat have only 2 effects xD also, why the new headgears don't give bonus when upgraded to +7?, maybe it's not necessary?

or Lv 10 Double Attack, and buff all bolts damage by 45%

 

we are already on episode 16.2, soon we will get more op stuff from kRO, there is a possibility about the new headgear for alternative build.

soon we will get Poring Racing Cap, with so op enchants from kRO.

 

the community headgear must be equal or if not stronger than the counterpart which is Bio5 Hat.

we dont and shouldnt make something that going to get replaced by another thing in the future.

I agree. We already use 2 handed axe, we have to equip supplement parts that disable armor and 1 accessory for this build to be maxed. Sp leech would be veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery useful.
Or we could add a power swing buff, like -50% power swing skill delay, only for power swing.

Yeah, I could lax up on that requirement, Sorc is truly the one class in the game that could use another 40 points.

 

Right, after calcing the numbers, this is what I will propose...

 

Mdef + 10
Aspd + 5
Enables Level 8 Double Attack
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of ^0000FFCold Bolt^000000, ^0000FFFire Bolt^000000 and ^0000FFLightning Bolt^000000 by 1% for every base level of the user.

 

Let's the damage scale with level and gives a 40% chance to do double damage during spell fist. Again, like everything they are subject to tweaks.

If you don't like this suggestion on adding hp/sp leech per chance nor power swing delay reduction we could add to it a lava flow buff, hum?

Like this: +25% damage and 10% cooldown reduction for every level of Fire Earth research.

Or A vulcan arm buff, so it will be the hat for variant builds.

Like this: +20% vulcan arm damage for every level of Mado Gear license and when using the skill -50% atack delay for 1 second, so it would be useful only using the skill not a passive buff.

Just arguing.

+7 refine. increase proc chance of axe boom by 5% when using pswing per level of pswing learned

+7 refine. increase dmg of crazy vines by 50%

 

@MNC

+7 refine. increase summoned elemental spirit's hp,sp,atk,matk,def,mdef by 30% per lvl of spirit sympathy learned

(come on WP give spirit sorcs some luv)
