Hello,

I had to reinstall my Dragon Saga together with Gateway and they were working fine, but one day later, my Gateway isn't recognizing my Dragon Saga as an installed game anymore and the Play tab is replaced by a Download one.

I never liked Gateway so much, and I used to know ways to play without it, but right now I forgot how you have your client to update without it.

If anyone can Private Message on my profile any way to do it, Id be grateful.

Also, if anyone knows how I can fix this problem WITHOUT having to Re-install all my clients over again, I'll be thankful.

Here is a screenshot which shows the issue.

First a question: is dragonsaga installed in a place other than the default location?

This can happen when you have to uninstall/reinstall a few times to fix a problem and I'm sorry to say but the only way I've personally fixed it is by reinstalling again.

What I recommend is: 1. uninstall dragonsaga 2. restart your computer 3. install dragonsaga again 4. restart computer again this should minimize the chance of it doing this (I believe it to be a registry issue, in other words the gateway program can't find dragonsaga because it is only looking for it in the default install location)

Thank you EnderW for your help. The way EnderW has suggested is probably your best route to take. Unfortunately, it may require the reinstallation of the games, unless you re-route the game links to the Gateway. Please provide us with the process that you will be taking as well so we can get a better idea where the issue may be occurring.

I've downloaded the client normally since the time Dragon Saga was launched, and since then, always stored the installer in some folder to use it again in the future. Some people have been complaining about that, but what I suggest is: Turn off anything else you have on your background, and keep trying, it may take 2-3 tries but well... that is how stuff works with Gateway.

Yes, it has always been, since the time I downloaded and installed the game on the Official Release date, I install it in a specific folder for Games to sort the mess on my computer. And i'm sure its not the problem.

Its not a registry issue. Since I installed the game, it worked properly with Gateway, and after a computer reboot, it disappeared, so it may be some random issue that is causing the game to disappear.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway, even though, I hate to reinstall stuff over and over again.

unless you re-route the game links to the Gateway. Please provide us with the process that you will be taking as well so we can get a better idea where the issue may be occurring.

Well, I've already tried to add the Patcher Folder to Gateway, but it says "Folder is already added". Then, as I tried to remove the folder link, to re-add it, I couldn't, since it was set by Gateway as a default route and I'm only able to delete the links that I've added. So if you can tell me any other way to re-route the game back to Gateway, it would help me, rather than reinstalling and patching the game all over again (Which now takes around 30-40 minutes).

If I find anything out, i'll post it here, if it randomly comes back, I won't post anything at all.
