Since the game is losing its European players and the population in general is decreasing, I thought that I'd write a guide on all that I learnt about auto cast builds before the game disappears.

Now, this is in the acolyte class subforum because mental strength makes the job a lot easier, but any class can do this with the right equipment.

I've arranged the guide in the order of priority of equipment that you need to get. It starts with defensive equipment, moves to healing equipment, and then the useful auto casts.

The purpose of this guide is to outline the important mechanics involved, not to list equipment. Search for equipment using the databases listed below.

iW Page on auto casts. Incomplete, but it covers most of the older items.

iW DB. Go to card search and type in 'chance' in the 'Effect' field to find useful cards.

I generally try to not use temporary buffs, but kaahi + sp recovery will indeed greatly improve your survivability.

It's in the Acolyte section because I don't know where else to put it. I don't even use Mental Strength with my 'fun' builds. It's not really a guide for new players as it requires some knowledge of the game and to be moderately rich.

Such in-depth info here! I never understood why some monsters would do more/less damage when stacking up to max neutral resist for example. You are an artist, sir or madam.

If you stack enough neutral resist you can do this with any character. You're only limited by the elemental skills used by monsters. Rafflesia can be used as a test case to see if you're recovering enough HP per hit. They don't use any skills, and have decent aspd.

They use Hallucination and make it hard to see how much damage you're taking. Even the battle message log lists the wrong numbers.
