Petition to remove previous week's TI

As stated in the title. It's been like this for so long and I wanna know why nobody's ever questioned it.

 

I don't see any point in leaving mobs from last week's TI in the map. If it's for people to catch up and finish their missed TI, it's sort of useless. People who would benefit for having last week's TI:

- people who have farmed a lot of previous week's TI and still want to farm the previous week's mobs

- people who didn't farm enough but want to catch up with previous week's TI (dunno why even when the current week's TI should be enough)

 

The first one definitely have farmed enough that removing previous week's mob wouldn't hurt them. The second one most probably didn't care enough to farm significant amount of exp from the previous map and catching up with the retained mobs would be too slow since they're too few. Not to mention, retained mobs (mobs from previous week) are too few to benefit the two groups of people mentioned above.

 

Leaving mobs from previous week's TI would only be a nuisance or even a deterrent (i.e. keep people away from gramps for 2 weeks) for people who are avoiding certain mobs (e.g. ranged mobs, non-ME-able mobs, difficult mobs in high TI etc.). 

 

Unless WP's actual intention is to make leveling [Removed] and to make people stop grinding gramps for 2 weeks every now and then, (or unless there's a technical explanation why it would be so hard to implement this change), I see no reason to continue with this habit of retaining previous week's mob.

 

Pretty sure this is one of this suggestions that wouldn't really hurt the gaming experience of anyone but will definitely improve it for some and I really don't think this change is any harder than changing a TI map.

tl;dr

 

- retained mobs are just nuisance

- all pros no cons

- removing them will only hold off players who don't like certain mobs for 1 week instead of 2 weeks

- doesn't look like it's that hard to implement

Yep. They can just go to the field if they want to finish their last weeks TI rather than making a current TI unwanted because of last week's TI.

BTW, is there such thing as a limit to how much mobs a map can handle? If there is, then all the more reason to remove previous week's TI. Those spaces could have been given to current week's mobs.

it is this way coz if you didnt finish your counts, can finish while do this week TI counts. Also, if you complain and tell em "go to the original map and hunt"... do you know the before-Gramps era?

It's actualy quite useful for those who have taken the quest but dont have the time to finish it the previous week.

Also a bit OT, might wanna check the age range of millenials. Chances are, you belong. Unless you're really in you're really a middle-aged man in his late 30s. Lol

As mentioned, if they haven't bothered to grind a lot of those TI quest last week, why do we need to cater to them? Likewise, those who have farmed a lot won't probably mind finishing their remaining TI quest since they farmed enough.

This suggestion is nonsense. There is no harm on having them or not havinf them. Just leave those monsters alone. Do they bother you? No, you are the one who is bothering them.

Just go on hunting or find a much better hunting grounds.

I'll give you the good thing of this feature: You can turn in 4 TIs in one go.

Actually, if you do TIs daily, you'll finish the previous quest in a few days depending on how far you were. This happens while you do the current TI so no additional work is needed unlike if you went to a different map. Most people prefer it this way and this is how it's been for a long time.

Can we bring back how TIs were first introduced?

Get the quest to kill monsters, which was 1 monster on their specific map. (I.E hunt 400 harpies on the map 1 south of juno)

Vip got an instant warp to the map of that monster, non vip had to walk there.

Spawn rate for that map was increased to 2x.

No cool down on the TI.

 

Had tons of fun hunting 1200  kobolds.

1.When Mobs attack is range attack

2.When the range attack is DPS

3.When Mobs that suck-up ppl SP 

4.When Mobs have hallucination debuff skill

5.When Mobs have reflect skill

8.When Mobs have reflect skill

...

How about they give us 30mins to afk on Eden the give us Exp that is equal to 400x of the monster exp listed ?

What the OP really wants is to get easy to build in an afk build! thats the real true about asking to remove old Tis monsters! So, No I disagree!!! Soon that afk builds will become a plague , specially if they remove the old Ti monsters!!
