The Very Normal Hat could give more stats for a Auto Shadow Spell chaser, like more aspd or give some autocasts like more meteor storm or Storm Gust (?) PW, etc.. (Or Double Bolt :v)

The Very Normal Hat could give more stats for a Auto Shadow Spell chaser, like more aspd or give some autocasts like more meteor storm or Storm Gust (?) PW, etc.. (Or Double Bolt :v)

 

It was a generic MATK hat, people suggested making it a generic copy hat so the stats it gives help with multiple skills that can be copied :U

Very Normal Hat
Atk + 10%
Matk + 10%
Increases long-ranged damage by 10%.
Increases magical damage on Small, Medium and Large size targets by 10%.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Reduces the cast delay of skills by 15%.


Autumn Headband
Atk + 2 for every 5 base Dex.
Reduces the variable casting time of Arrow Storm by 100%.
Reduces the SP cost of Arrow Storm by 28.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of Arrow Storm by 1% for every 5 base levels.

 

Just sharing my thoughts so feel free to correct me why it should be otherwise.

 

The Very Normal Hat would have been nice all around for auto-casters if it raises a good amount of stats instead?

 

For Autumn Headband, I wish it would have been a cooldown reduction (probably 50% cd reduction or ~1.2 seconds reduction which could slightly be of help from lv1 arrow storm to level 10) rather than the cast time reduction.

There are many ways to reduce the cast time for rangers, especially when AS rangers should have high dex anyway.

Probrably not, will stay better to use a Lunar Rainbow, Celine Ribbon + Brooch or Zaha doll instead this hat giving +20 of all stats.. one good change is add more rate of the shadow spell autocast rate, or a good amount of aspd like the sorc hat or some exclusive autocast, since the sorcs and ab can receive a book that give meteor storm lv 5 autocast with 20% of rate, making then better than a shadow spell lv 10.

These are the proposed changes to the various headgears that have been identified as not working correctly.

 

Royal Guard

Reduces the cooldown of ^0000FFPinpoint Attack^000000 by 5 seconds.
Adds a 100% chance of casting ^0000FFLevel 1 Genesis Ray^000000 on the target when using ^0000FFPinpoint Attack^000000, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
If upgrade level is +9 or higher,
Increases the damage of ^0000FFGenesis Ray^000000 by 2% for every 5 base levels.

​I suggest skipping GR altogether.
It needs Inspiration that lasts effectively 60 seconds. (15-30 seconds used for re-buffing).
​And you'd only use Inspi when fighting MVP and VP is the killer. (Overbrand if Kiels for WoE I guess).

​LOL. I honestly couldn't care less about GR.
​It's weak, long ass animation hits and requires a 60 second skill that has 5 minutes cooldown & destroys RG's skill tree.

​I'm just excited about the idea of being able to spam PPA like VP haha.
​Also with this hat RG will have like unlimited Front Slide LOL.

You pointed it out, and I asked a few people who play RG and they verified it.

 

It's current form is what I will propose. I did think about giving it Inspiration Level 2 or 3 to help new players, but eh :U

GR is not that bad, i have tested it with myself

 

could get 500-900kish, but it is like your total DPS every 5 seconds.

 

vs total dps of OB / VP DPS within 5 seconds

​Coupled with Excellion set, new wave sunglass, and BSG. You'd have -55% skill delay.

​                  Nirvanna changed it to Holy Cross instead of PPA.
​                  A shame cause that would enabled RGs deal with AGI UP a lot easier.
​                  (That new acceossry with 20% Perfect Hit is good though, but I prefer spammed PPA).

​Physical RK will soon get his buff.
​                   Upcoming Runestone patch (Double Attack crit would compliment this very much)

Clashing Spiral with Lindy Hop is nice. Need -100% skill delay though.
People in iRO simply don't bother with this build.

But the very normal hat is for SC only lol

..

And the Sorc hat is pretty good for autocast build since it gives a lot of damage and a lot of aspd

Have not tested it. What is Sakray? (lol). Though I assume that 500k is for non-undead targets and 900k for undead targets. Decked out OP gears setting.

Of course, it won’t beat normal VP/CS DPS but hey, we get something new to play with. Also RoG has a magic attack. Might be worth trying on high-flee bosses or physical immune bosses.

I tried to do a Seagod before. Ran until Mutant fish I think and he was physical immune ... so ... :v

He already said it has to be about RoG or it’s original intended effect. I don’t mind trying RoG to be honest lol

RG hat isn't OP, the GX one is a little, but it's not guaranteed to get in like that. Testing needs to be done. I tweak things based on three key factors:

 

1. What was the original purpose

2. How does the change help

3. Where is the proof

 

I have to stick to the original purpose unless there was something fundamentally wrong with it.

 

I am only extending in most hats, the SC was sadly only Matk%, generic stats are as good as it gets unless Campitor is happy to change it's purpose, but again he stated that he wanted to keep them, what we have is an agreement so that the new blank copies can have whatever they want on them when they arrive.

 

If I put an effect in, it's because someone provided proof of concept. For Genesis Ray, all of it's factors make it a really -_-ty skill, you need banding or Inspiration up, it has a huge health penalty and just sucks so much more than Grand Cross even. For Counter Slash, it requires Weapon Blocking to proc. It means it needs to dish out substantial damage, but also it needed something to help. After many proposals this is what we are running with to test as soon as Camp can script it.

 

I tried to make it so we could bypass requirements for GR and CS, but it just couldn't be done. And I am not prepared nor is anyone else really to wait 5 years for kRO to send us something that would work. So we are doing what we can with what exists and testing it.
