How AW-Ranger increase competitive in hunting mvp? now i am lose Sura, Gene, and Doram?

i mean, when i saw those job people looking mvp with me in same map, i automatic quits because 2 or 3 time bad experience with them.

 

1st when they ks, they break my hit lock,

2nd damage output slower than those job.

 

so is it possible ranger win those job in hunting mvp?

I'm surprised you didint mention GX. Well yeah it is harder for you to compete with them and that is why you're probably the only ranger I assume lol

 

You can do Central Lab (CLab) to kill free 3 MvPs a day. I think killing 3 MvPs a day should be enough gaming for a day lol

Of course you'll lose, get KS and such...

 

Those classes you mention deal burst damage that could (and probably always) insta-kill MVPs.

You can do Central Lab (CLab) to kill free 3 MvPs a day. I think killing 3 MvPs a day should be enough gaming for a day lol

Yes, KS-ing is can be reported... but don't bother with it... certain people won't listen and ignore it anyway...

increase your damage output... that's the only thing i could say... For auto-warg ranger, you dont really need to use MVP card. Increase your crit dmg and be faster. And GTB using AW ranger, goodluck really

Warg deal fixed damage, its not affected by atk%,ranged%,race%,boss% modifiers,  you cant rely on warg while other classes always get buffed whenever new OCP arrived to this server.

 

best you do Crit Fear Breeze build , cause thats lot better than your moving-doge.

 

however if we talk about PVP, yes warg is awesome, cause it deals fixed damage, you can go full reductions and not worrying about your dps.

the only equipment boost Warg damage is old-headgear? i still to wait 20 level to wear it

  seen like i need to accept this reality. 

 

So may i ask, where is the AW-ranger to advance? WOE? seen like hybrid built is more useful in mvp and WOE?

MVPing isnt about who has the top gear its about who finds the MVP first unless you hunting the fixed spawn mvps . If you wanna 1~2 shot mvps just get arrow storm gear and hunt mvps in your dmg range. Crit ranger can do alot of damage with the right items you should post your items so people can suggest upgrades maybe.

    actually i got many senior advise to become more stronger like using Mob Scraf Set and etc.

But this question (how to improve competitive AW-Ranger in MVP is based on the almost the best AW-Ranger built compare with other job).

In Short-term, how can i improve myself again without spend too much zeny?

Now i am buying Royal Guard Shield and Gaia Shield to shield spell power up more 150attack.

But when i saw competitor looking mvp with me in the same time, i will like very nervous and most of time forget to cast some spell in hunting

Practice practice practice, there is little you can do on low HP mvps as an autowarg, best bet is using NL and Arrow Storm. On bigger HP mobs, Fear Breeze + NL + Critical Damage can do SO much.

Don’t mind my vids. They are from other server. Don’t play RG because you can see how RG section is dead lol

I don’t personally play Ranger. I have one friend who mains Ranger though and he thinks Ranger is very good af MvPing. But is it good enough to compete against Gen, I’m clueless.

I would however suggest you to try AS build and just take your time in instances where no one can interrupt you. There is no way you can compete with meta classes out there and there are lots of them. People main them because they are OP, common sense right. Anyways, there are many awesome AS Ranger ET vids out there. I think it’s much better than AW.

• 7x7 when Shield DEF is 81+.

Damage (ATK) = [(Base_Lv × 4) + (Shield_DEF × 10) + (VIT × 2)]%

 

Effect 2

Reflects Melee damage. (Does not work against Bosses).

this skill drain me a lot of SP XD. 

After using Gaia Shield, the duration become longer.

if ur gear not good enough, just do mvp instance, since too hard to compete with op class, it doesnt mean Ranger is weak class just need to know ur limit, u can use AS to kill any mvp with normal gear. usually i did central lab and bio4 instance with AS only

Yes, if you get the first hit your damage counts twice for loot priority calculations. After this multiplication the person with the highest damage gets the loot.

Though it is nothing if the overkill damage is nuts, for example Guillotine Fist. That -_- can do millions of overkill and thus give them loot priority.

Ya, I think ranger maybe hard to compare meta job (even with no limit) finally I saw a gx hunting MVP, a gx name Uber xxxxx 2 normal hit, killed a nightmare amon Ra (2m hp) within 2second. Only buff I saw he use is Odin power lv 2 by a AB.
