I used perfect hunch in the f6 dragon valley to get rings. On round two (the first ring drops), there was no ring drop. At first, I thought maybe I missed it somehow. I ran the map again and sure enough there was no ring drop on round 2 when using perfect hunches.

Could it be that your pet killed Caracha without you laying any scratch on it yourself? Monster that killed by pet no longer drop any items without your attacks. This happened to me too so I turned off pet auto attack.

Ohhhh STUPID PETS! That's not even fair. I want my perfect hunches back. What's the point of having attacks on a pet if you can't even use them? What a let down. No more farming for pet eggs with events for me as they are now completely worthless.

You know pet still have other function than just for combat right? teleports? picking up stuff? stats? passive buff? Pet can still help in combat and as long as you are able to lay a scratch on enemy first, items will still drop when killed. Only the item won't drop when letting the pet kill enemy all by itself alone, thanks to those AFK player letting their pet doing all the job for hours in the past.

They should have it turned off that change during the mission maps.
