So, i did not test the item, but i've seen people on forums/in game saying that devil's hand 100% hard def bypass works only for sura.

 

Is that true? If so, is it a bug or an intended nerf?

It is the fixed casting time got nerf to 50%, not def bypass.

 

Def bypass is still 100% for all classes

Anyway, the effects have already been changed once and sold as such. I doubt that they'd change it again so soon.

The Devil's Hand sounds too OP on paper, but when you think about it, its not as bad as it seems.

 

Most classes that will be physically attacking will still get 126 Luk for PDM, which makes the def bypass moot. And most classes that attack physically do not need a way to reduce FCT by 50%. Whereas classes that need 50% FCT already have ways to achieve it with other sets like Celine or more recently, Valk Drop. Not to mention Sacrament.

 

I think it is effectively Sura exclusive, as they don't have existing options to ignore def or reduce FCT yet. Everything else already has better ways to do it. I believe Doram is the other viable option, as they do not really benefit as much from PDM either based on the stats they get.
