To all of the people who keep messaging me, wondering where my non forum rules posts keep going, the title of the post says it all.
I believe I've done a very good job of trying to explain what the problem really means versus just saying "We're going to freeze you or not freeze you or give you money back or not.". Several people have expressed their thanks to me from this(before they were crushed) however as the title says, there is a good chance you personally didn't see either of the two small info books I posted that EXPLAINED GDPR so that people can understand what's happening to them versus just slapping them with "what Gravity is going to do to you so there!" messages.
It should be said that there used to be forum mods who took the time to edit out parts of a post if it somehow softly violated any rules. That meant pulling a sentence out here or there in order to make themselves and Gravity happy. Then a quick PM explaining the problem and everyone was happy versus people being left with no clue whatsoever why their post trying to assist Gravity was killed.
It's abundantly clear that we don't have those forum mods anymore. The ones we had used to take carefully crafted posts...some of which took a significant amount of time to make so that they could attempt something like help people and soften the blow of losing something some of us have played for twelve plus years. They'd edit and a problem was fixed versus ones created where people believe that certain members of the forum moderators are involved with censoring the truth of what's going on. This doesn't suit or assist Gravity nor the people getting increasingly frustrated with their insensitivity over the horrible problem called GDPR.
Why am I posting this thread because the one or the other hammer wielding FM's on some sort of vindictive deal will just censor it too because god help us if someone actually call them out for their insensitive tactics? Don't ask me. I'm a person who at least TRIES to help people. If I make mistakes in a post that are against any rules I welcome Forum Moderators to "moderate" it...that is to fix the post so that it's not a problem. That's what moderate means. It does not mean that you just smash and crush whatever post you feel like because then you begin to make people think that you not only don't care but that you're a dictator or tyrant that just kills things that are probably 98% fine.
God I miss Calanor. He actually took time to "moderate" the forum versus just attacking people. You would think that people from Gravity would be more sensitive to people's needs versus being so aggressive but then again what makes sense anymore?
Anyways, since I'm not allowed to post anything about GDPR, if you want to know about what it means to you, PM or try to locate me in the game. I'll tell you the truth because I apparently can't tell it to you here.
Lastly, I'm looking for some help getting my medallions. That's right, I've never finished mine. Is there anyone who can help me get my set so I can get my nice gear? I'd love you forever!
