Hey survivors. So, i havent been on here ever since they brought that npc that would raffle off stuff if you guessed the right number in Prontera, haha. I came back to see the changes, and oh man what happened to the player base?was there a big ban or something i read?

About half the community was banned for being born/living in the wrong areas deemed by Gravity and/or Warp Portal. The rest of the community seen a problem with it and decided it was time to move on. The remaining people either have too much invested into the game to feel it's worth moving on, solo playing, or bot stragglers(that the owner isn't aware of the state of the game). No matter how you look at it, unless Warp Portal has an plan in place to move forward, there is a good chance this server is going to die soon.

Oh wow. I just logged in and never seen prontera so empty. Why would they ban EU players? They are no different than us american players and if anything helped the server be sustained and grow. I've played this game since 2002 and have never seen anything like this big of a blow up. I feel bad for everyone who devoted a lot of time here

GDPR (https://www.eugdpr.org/) and a unwillingness to update their privacy policy/systems.

 

On a side note, we can't blame the staff here as it was not a decision made by them.

I don't think the GDPR has anything to do with it. I think it's just a copout for Gravity wanting to segregate the servers.

We (all) tried to make iRO great again (really tried) but management failed us pretty hard. Its like having a Puppet State, they can't call any shots and just obey to the fatherland in Korea

Jokes aside the people even mapped out solutions for you:
1. Anti-bot policies and systems
2. Customized RO in jRO sense with Community feedback

3. The banning of EU, you guys are called INTERNATIONAL Ragnarok Online, if you can call yourself something then at least back it up.

They attempted to revive WoE, but ended up releasing new OCP items that broke it even more. Same story, different year.

The ban has been the reason for this trauma

 I feel bad for everyone who devoted a lot of time here....Instead you should have visited portalroms for some exiting and informational stuff. Atleast its more informational than wasting time in this...
