Every other piece of equipment from SC can be disassembled into lisents or 9th grade bindrunes or apotropes except the Gloopy Mask.
I can't think of any reason why only that one item can't be disassembled and I think it should be changed. Tho it is quite lovely, having one is more than enough for most people
