My Old Setup was Mobscarf + Kiel sunnies and Temp Dex boots with Firelock Card.

and a +12 HWHB on top.

 

also comboed FAW 421 + 1x Fairy leaf + PDM

 

With finally Red Baby Dragon coming I am unsure wich setup suits now best.

 

 

 

Should I get a Temp Dex SoL + Temp Ring, put Kiel in RBD and drop Mob Scarf?

 

 

What else mid and lower headgear should I use then.

Might as well go Kiel + Temp Ring if you can afford both. You then can drop TGL for a quad kingbird valk hammer and a shield.

I'm using a new wave sunglasses because I'm poor, but you can continue to use the mob for the variable cast reduction if not then any lower headgear will do.

When someone uses 200 $ and get no Ring at all, it may be cheaper to buy Refine ores and get rich with Mad Bunny to buy one (Kiel C).....

You can use this setup:

RBDH[kiel]
NWG
Strawberry in mouth
Tae goo
Abu 4~6 dex
Temporal dex SOL ea 4 + Temporal ring
PDM
FAW 10 EA

You'll get 90% delay reduction (95% actually, then you can drop New Wave to use mob scarf and use the chimera combo to get 88% delay reduction), lots of extra vit/dex from pdm and abu (probably you will get IC with blessing and improve concentration) and a high ranged damage modifier. Since you'll be using tgl, you'll have a nice aspd and sometimes 193 aspd with the activation of speed of light.

Temporal RIng also gives +10% hp/sp  so giving up Temp dex [1] isnt a big loss.

That said, don't hold your breath for Red Baby Dragon. Pretty sure it is kRO that needs to fix it similar to the situation with Cylinder and even that was fixed indirectly thanks to Bio5 update, not because kRO delivered a fix for it specifically.

I know. But removing cast delay from those setups without going under 90% or sacrificing cast time/damage is not an option.

I use a Magical Shadow Ring + a Shadow Caster Pendant along with the Tree Sproute to help with the variable cast time. So far the cast bar is barely noticable with this setup.

Another option is to go beyond +10 on your red baby dragon and card it with a KK card.

vct cast time formula taken from this page
 
 
VCT cast time reduction from status took 1st priority, followed by % VCT cast reduction from equipments/skills/items
 
For example through status alone you gain 50% vct reductions and from equipments / items you gain 50% reductions.
when you're using skill with 5 seconds variable cast time, its cast time will be reduced to 1.25 seconds (5 x 0.5 x 0.5) through above setup

Keeping in mind the latest gears, i mean PDM n mobs stats combos.

For pure DB RK, a recommended stats build is: 1 STR, 90 AGI, 120 VIT, 100 INT, 120 DEX, 1 LUK. 120 VIT for optimal HP, 100 INT for optimal SP, 120 DEX for removing 0.5 sec FCT, and 90 AGI for better tanking/evading when mobbed. You can also put the AGI points on INT, it will lead to higher SP and better DPS, so a trade-off between damage and survivability.

you can hardly carry consumables with that STR. I suggest to have STR somewhere between 50 and AGI from 50-70.

Keeping multiple Rodex-ed consumables are more practical these days, you might also forget that during dragon ride you got increased weight capacity and gym pass existence is pretty much another way to get huge weight capacity without jeopardizing with your status builds

You'll need a dex4-6 fattery/abusive/consolation robe, dex shadow set or freebies shadow set, pdm, dex+2 lower midgear and join the Arch Wand Clan. You may have to go a bit above 120 Dex if you opt to not use foods. +3-+5 dex foods are super cheap.

Damage will be pretty much the same. Getting the combo of Temp Ring + SoL is really good. You can still achieve 100% using the new hat once they release it - or 95% if you use any other armor instead of Medical Scrubs like me (I use +10 EDA for the SP leech.
