Mine appears as a thick yellow cloud
I have seen other people posting their videos and it looked a lot much subtle
How do I adjust the max level yellow sprite to make it less conspicuous?
It is blocking the visual effect of my costumes

I actually used to have full auras back in the 150 days. Weren't as painful to see, and sort of looked nice too.

-sort of related query
i do have a C. Magic Circle ASPD +1, well it is not entirely visible with the yellow aura... (well I want other people to see both aura and the magic circle)
and when I do Cloak.... the magic circle shows... then when doing pvp/woe... people will know where I am.... (people without maya p)

Magic Circle acts as an effect more than an equipment.

Yeah, nothing to do about magic circle, the way it's sprite acts it's more like a skill effect than it is an actual gear sprite. Downside to wearing gears with effects like that.

According to Campitor, anything that touches a player sprite is off limits. This includes the aura.

Does he state that directly anywhere? Cause idk if it really "touches" the character sprite, also kinda sounds like it would make using /aura illegal too, lol. Camp should make it a little more clear on the aura thing. (and some other stuff)

Is there any way to abuse the aura effect to benifit, if not then there should be no problem.

I asked and he said no for the following reason.
i would tell users no because it does touch the character
I am simply relaying the response.

Why is Costume queen scaraba causing aura sprite to flash?
Posted 14 July 2018 - 11:16 AM
It messes up a lot of things.

True... This yellow thing hurts my eyes.

Eh, would think he'd accept it because imo it's more of a separate entity like how some of the costumes work that display as "effects" rather than the way item sprites. Pretty sure he said it was ok at one point but idc cuz i just have mine on simplify for ages since they are so ugly. Also pretty sure he allowed someone to use "chibi" sprites before which definitely touches char sprite, lol.

He may have but we inquired with the staff again just recently, anything that touches the sprite of a character is not permitted, this includes the status effects (sleep, stun, etc).
