Sorry for this post, but when I used my holy crimson mace i just bought I am now a little confused.

To my understanding CC takes the element of the cannonball first, if cannonball is neutral, it then takes the weapon's element.

But when i tried the Holy mace + neutral cannonball, I was missing completely on ghost element. I also used cursed water with same mace + neutral cannonball and was still missing.

My Redtwin edge + neutral cannonball is also missing on whispers..

I'm new to renewal mechanics but i've read through most of the forum posts but couldnt come to any conclusion. Can someone please clarify? Many thanks

Cursed water endow your weapon to Shadow element.
You should use soul cannon ball to hit Ghost monters like whisper.

You're right. When using ELEMENTAL CANNONBALL it takes the cannonball's property.

Here is where it gets tricky, when using NEUTRAL CANNONBALL the damage is pseudo-elemental.

Note: Read Sigma's post here for pseudo elemental explanation https://forums.warpp...s/#entry2551435

Neutral cannon ball, CC to ghost property

Ghost endow

lv 1 = 125% (ghost x ghost) * 70% (neutral x ghost) =  87.5%

lv 2 = 150% (ghost x ghost) * 50% (neutral x ghost) =  75%

lv 3 = 175% (ghost x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

lv 4 = 200% (ghost x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

Poison endow

lv 1 = 100% (poison x ghost) * 70% (neutral x ghost) =  70%

lv 2 = 75% (poison x ghost) * 50% (neutral x ghost) =  37.5%

lv 3 = 50% (poison x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

lv 4 = 25% (poison x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

Any other endow

lv 1 = 100% (any x ghost) * 70% (neutral x ghost) =  70%

lv 2 = 100% (any x ghost) * 50% (neutral x ghost) =  50%

lv 3 = 100% (any x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

lv 4 = 100% (any x ghost) * 0% (neutral x ghost) =  0%

so, is this calculation correct? :p_swt:

Every ball element always endows final damage. So damage element always matches ball element.

- In case of elemental balls. Ball element always override weapon element or converter.
- But in case of neutral balls. Ball element has no effect on weapon element or converter. So this damage part would deal more or less damage depends on elemental weakness. But in the final damage. It will be converted to neutral by ball element. Becoming pseudo elemental.

Neutral cannonball is still pseudo neutral, so no matter what element is your weapon or which converter you used, it will still miss on Ghost. Endow is only applied in final damage as Sigma1 already said.
