Hello there,
For this ongoing event, there is no guidelines.
 
Please see event details posted below:

• ​Novice, First Job, Second Job Characters will receive bonus a Job EXP Bonus Buff (Does not stack with Job Battle Manuals)
• All characters will receive a EXP percentage bonus from levels, 1-100 = (200 - (Character Level * 2))

For the former, simply relog your character within the applicable level to get the Job EXP Buff.

Its pretty much a NPC that gives you a hunting quest and teleports you to the map.

But the on going event is not Jumping Janeway. Its just an exp buff for every character under lv 100.
