Hey guys, I was thinking of coming back to Chaos and I have a level 170 GX and 5b.

 

What items would you recommend I spend it on so I can start farming again. or is the 5b better spent on a Ranger nowadays. So much new ocp items im a bit confused as to what to invest in.

Your 5b value today is only like 1b in the past     

current market: $15 = 1,500 kp = 600 to 700m.......................... simply as that

even noobs who played & explore the game by 10% can now talk/post about billions of zeny in chat/vending like hotcakes. 

 

e.g.

 heavy lifter box

 

past: 45-50m 

today:280-320m.

Depend on your build.
These items maybe you will need like FAW +0 = 1B~2B, Mob Scarf = 3B~4,5B, Tengu Set = 1,2B~2B, Temporal Ring =4B~7B, Enforcer Shoes +7 = 500m~800m, Immortal Dog = 5B~8b, etc etc

Just a clean GX 166 RC type with no gears, i still havent spent my 5b - im actually contemplating on making a genetic while cylinder hat seems to be readily available nowadays and FAW price has increased dramatically.

 

Do you have a group or guild I could join to ask around, im definitely going to slowly accumulate more money by selling WPE items over the course of time but for now 5b is what i have to work with.

I see. Both GX and Genes are good farmers. I myself use GX and farm zenny at OGH, HTF, Faceworm. Is is up to your playstyle and preference too. For guilds, You can view the guild section. There are guilds recruiting for both new and returning players. Hope you get your GX or Gene geared so you can farm efficiently. Best of luck!

Old bone circlet(account bound). Can buy material from other vendor. At least 5b to get decent enchant
+12 white droping eddga 2b

Mid:
Sunglasses(combo with mob scarf)

Lower:
Mob scarf 4b

Armor:
Abusive 4str/4luk 5-6b
+13 Abusive 5str/5luk 15b
+13 abusive 6str/6luk 20b
+9 abyss dress 5b
+9 fire dragon armor 2b
+9 mighty black threaded armor 750m

Garment:
+9 faw max enchant 3-4b
+10 phreeoni wing

Shoes:
Temporal boots 1.5-2b
+7 enforcer shoes 500m
