hello there new genetic player here, just acquired a level 120 gene and need help with cart cannon gears on a 2b budget. I'm just focused on leveling at scaraba hole 2 then NCT til 175. I looked through the guides but they seem outdated and no help with low budget gears. Oh please, please, pretty please help Pimp my Gene!!!

I think your priority should be Thanatos Hammer and Cylinder Hairband, or maybe get an EDA and swap thanatos for a 3xAS RTE.

Shoes : +9 Temporal Str/Dex (depend on your gene) BP/EA4 (or RM/EA4, maybe you will buy Temporal Ring later  )

Costumes : Costume Goggles [increase exp 30%], Shadow Set from Mysterious Bug [Free]

Note : You can buy +0 then refine to +7 and wait Enrich Event come back or using blacksmith blessing + HD Ore (but up to you   )

hmmm good info, I'm leaning towards cylinder and thanatos+incubus pet hopefully thats good enough for sp/hp regen. its too bad i cant use my rideword hat. toy syringe also seems very valuable for hp consumables too. I need more recommendations for cheaper garment and accessories though.

My gene 120 gear go as follow:

 

Harvester Hat / Dark Blinder / Toy Syringe

+8 EDA

+4 Thana Hammer

+4 Hodremlin Valk Shield

+9 Raydric FAW EA8

Variant Shoes

2 Scaraba(not gold) RWC Pendant

 

My CC damage is really low, so i see i got 2 choices, +9 the EDA and keep it or sell it to get a CHB and maybe +7 the Thana and put HF/AS on it and get a temporal dex, or is EDA worth keeping? I've got a +9 Deadly MBTA too on my GX which i can share.

Get a cylinder, you won't regret it. It saves you SP over time, adds +50% CC damage and also negates the need for dex, so you can go INT120 first while leaving dex at 1 for maximum CC damage early on.

 

Then, instead of buying expensive RTE, just get cheap ones like ea4 RTE 60M clean, and card it with 3 caramels for huge damage against insect in scaraba. Just upgrade it to +4~7 will do. It will deal much more damage at much lower prices. You can later re-use this in faceworm nest, so there is zero waste.

 

Lastly, instead of variant shoes, use any temporal shoes with expert archer4 for 8% more damage. Preferably temporal dex but whatever suits your budget.

 

 

After all that, just save for seraphim coronet to really hit very hard or sidetrack and go for a PDM first. Up to you.

Flat dex mainly for easy instacast ... for genetic i think for now u must buy CHB if you want easily leveling with CC .. and pump the stats on Int first for CC damage .. for weapon just use a +9 thana hammer it is already good enough for leveling ... for EDA upgrade it to +9 or +10 if you can and keep it because with EDA u don't need to pot so often because of the OP leeching ...

Thanks guys, i managed to scrape some waste from my storage and bought my CHB today and put a HF on my hammer, just gotta find a temp with EA now.

I would highly recommend a u hunter fly over Archer skeleton. Archer skeleton will marginally increase your damage while a hunter fly will very nicely compliment your dps, and heal you in the go.
