Need some help in determining the best combo. I currently use two GX's (one DD DA Crit, the other MA/RC)

 

For Mob Scarf Combo:

240 sum of Str & Luk=crit rate + 15, 18% atk, and 30% crit damage

160 sum of agi &vit=10% aspd, 10% mhp, and 6% demihuman reduction

 

Mid Slot and gives a ton of other benefits, depending on your stat build.

For Gambler's Seal+Heart Card in Mouth:

120 Luk=Aspd+4, Crit Rate + 30, Crit Dmg+43%, Atk+24, Splash Atk

 

This can free up some stat points considering that most crit builds run with at least 120 Luk in the first place. However, this lacks the midslot that the mob scarf combo gives. Further, due to the flat aspd bonus, less agi and aspd% equipments will be required to reach 193 aspd. Most of these "freed up" slots/stats will probably be used to further increase atk. An example of this is you can re-roll +12 FAW Spec Agi Fatal 6 to Fatal 10 instead and probably don't need that costume aspd garment and can replace it with SP/HP enchant depending on your need. The GoH & Arrow Storm Reduction is a nice perk for PVP/WOE but not that useful in PVM.

For Imperial Feather+Royal Guard Necklace:

120 Agi=Aspd+17%, Aspd+2, Reduce Damage from Wind 5%, Atk+180, Demi Human Redux 8%, Immunity to Blind and Silence

 

For this, all you need is 120 agi and you get to keep all the bonuses this set has to offer. This also lacks the midslot, just like the Gambler's Seal set.

Considering all these factors:

1. Isn't it that Mob Scarf will still be the best combo in terms of damage (both Crit & Katar Builds)?

2. Given that Gambler's Seal & Imperial Feather sets will give much more stat flexibility, are there any suggestions on where to put the additional stats?

Correction:

 

Imperial Feather + RG necklace full effect at 120 AGI is:

Aspd+17%

Aspd+2

Reduce Damage from Wind 5%

Atk+180

Demi Human Redux 8%

Immunity to Blind and Silence

 

 

you also missed the fact that mob scarf gives 5% aspd/MHP and demi human redux for every 80 agi/vit (which i think you will get to atleast 80 each) which gives you 10% aspd/MHP and 6% demi human redux total 

 

you can go switching Mob Scarf Set <> Gambler Seal

 

as for RC/CRS build, between the 3, imperial feather will outweigh the 2 of them in terms of damage. since getting your agi to 120 will also increase the damage of your CRS. also, 193 aspd is very important for MA spamming if you have decent delay redux

 

although this is a long shot, my proposed MA build should be dual wielding:

 

Upper : +10 DH / OBC ME3 enchant

Mid : Imperial Feather

Lower : RG Necklace

Armor : +9 Med Scrubs

Main Hand : RTE EA2 

Off Hand : Any 4 slot dagger / Glorious Gladius

Garment : +9 Enforcer Cape

Shoes : +7 Enforcer Shoes

Acce1 : Fairy Leaf Powder

Acce2: Blacksmith Gloves

 

if you have a kiel, i think you can already spam this for 7hits per second. 

 

you can test it yourself in sakray and see if it has decent dps

Yeah, it seems. I'm not getting the ultrahype surrounding the Gambler's Seal but that flat aspd+ is smexy asf. Though BlackMeow's suggestion for MA is cool for the Imperial Feather Set.

Solid suggestions! Thanks for pointing out the omitted benefits (I left them out for the reader to figure out the bonus on their own based on their stat) but I agree with you that assuming 160 total agi and vit is safe in this scenario. Added that in the OP.

for gx, i'd pick imperial. Now if you have other classes to share thats another thing.

If I only play GX DD/Katar crit, What set should be useful than other.

I know that it's nice to have both especially faceworm nest mob set  might beat Gambler but in other instance/boss?

and Imperial Feather + RG necklace is best for CRS right?

this is also RG's dilemma.

if i were you, just stick with Mob since the mid slot is very compelling (Engkanto & Kiel in particular).

Imperial Feather completes a million of other sets for RG so it's more compelling for that class as opposed to GX.

Current price of necklace is dumb. I remember it was as low as 50m? Anyway I don’t think anyone is going to pay 500m for it. Like I said, it’s only for RG /gg
