I believe Classic and Re:Start have reached the point of glorious shut down. Warpportal simply don’t shut down their servers doesn’t mean official servers can’t be shut down and won’t be shut down. Being dead is a shut down to me.

Lets say a person who has never before heard of Ragnarok stumbles upon the IRO website. For each of the versions that you might have played before, what would you briefly have to say about it? Maybe include some pro's and con's of each version if you please? And finally if there were any good tips & tricks that may be helpful for a newbie to know.


IRO Classic
-Server for who like prerenewal state and hate renewal mechanic.
-Official Dead server because there won't be an update.

IRO Restart
-Server for who has concept let's start from 0. Nostalgiafag usually play on this server or classic.
-if you just want to woe with job 2 or trans, JUST GO PLAY WOE TE GOD DAMN!.
IRO Journey.
-Playing to nostalgia? Guarantee of leave on few months.
-official dead server as soon as every update complete and europe player.
-main player: Europe player(gone) and rest of the world.


IRO Renewal
-good for nothing renewal server.
-stable economy but become unstable as major asian country player join this server. And OCP coming.
-major player:
USA player, south america, and rest world.
Asian player (indonesia, philipine, thailand, and singapore) who believe their local server is -_-.
-people forgot they don't need OCP to enjoy all game content

why not, there are low rate server more active than iRO renewal, if they can be botfree why is WP unable to do so. They threw restart under the bus right from the start, banning of EU because of even more incompetence was just the killing blow.

 

 

They actually do, but I guess if you get told from iRO staff for 15 years "that theres nothing we can do about it", while some hippies in their basement can, maybe Id tell myself that too. 

 

Aside from the fact that there are servers up for over 10 years, what exactly does botting cost you there, even if they did shut down. Another point would be that people on iRO cant be too sure to not get told that their work will be lost in a month as well, unless you are american of course. 

 

 

there is no reason to do something illegal on illegal server, only idiot do that, 

 

EU GDPR are law stuff, the very reason they do that because it mean the population that affected aren't the majority, also ppl can bypass bot protection all the time

 

 

if some random guy said that his illegal server are Immune to Bot just because some random project on github, u should study a bit more, as long as they run on PC nothing impossible, that low quality bot protection is just an illusion they throw at u because no one bother doing it or finding how break through it

 

Don't Underestimate the bot community, that so called bot protection isn't impermeable shield, it's nothing but wodden wall 

 

 

 

again the whole reason official invested on bot because our economy has a great value to get abused, no one doing it on illegal server otherwise they're so dumb because

running a private server cant be stoped though. They lost the case decades ago when they had cash to fight against private, they will never attempt it again. Pservers run on another whole system(although the contents are almost entirely copied LOL).

if u can't stand it, don't play it anymore

 

 

don't claim u love RO and care about RO then play on Illegal server, it's taking part of piracy, encourage intellectual thief to keep stealing, and of course killing the developer motivation to make quality content because their hard work just get copied by THIEF,

 

doing so only discourage the developer and end up make them think, why bother doing hard work if All my work is got stolen :'( , I'll just release cute costume and make live with it

iRO Renewal -    I'm from Thailand   but  the reason I moved to iRO Renewal  instead of playing my own country official server     

 

 because I hate ThRO (Thai people called   RO EXE)   

that's still EP 14.2  (Max Lv. 150/50  ,  No Rebel / Doram  yet)   

 

 for about 3-4 years  w/o any further updates       

 

we still have the oldest version in the world  , too far behind other country  official servers    :<

New publisher  in Thailand  is really bad , focus only on their beloved Classic Revo  (RE:Start)   server 

 

 

the Renewal server that's transfered data from old publisher    (Called  Asgard server)    opened for 1 year ago   but still no further update   

 (We want Lv. 175/60   Rebel , Doram   new episode / contents like other country server.....  but still no....) 

 

still have a lot of bugs that's not fix yet ,  KVM / BG / VB / WOE TE closed for some reasons 

 

uninterested / worthless / useless Events , Promotions     / Costume Gachas    

 

open Bossnia too often  make some MVP cards very cheap  ,  some of low tier MVP cards (Osiris , Doppel , Boss Egnigem  etc.)   sell on vending at below 100m 

you can buy Drake card  at    150m  (300 THB or  10 USD  worth) 

 

the publisher ignore , not listen to  Renewal players feed-back   ,  take care too much on Classic Revo players 

(but still bad  , a lot of players still complain about their service  ......) 

 

 

 

so  that's why   I quit ThRO  and moved to iRO

I'm very satisfied when I reached Lv. 175 first time    have try a lot of new items  (especially OCPs  ) ,  some unique builds   that's I can't do in ThRO 

 

my fav Character in RO is  WL 

 

WL in ThRO is very weak  ,  few MDEF bypass gears    really pain to hunt MVPs or do Instances     

no Intensification  for SE build   (Because Intensification come in Lv.175 update) 

 

 no OCP gears that's make WL stronger with some skills  (I fell in love with  M.Glove , Mob set , Pororoca , Celine  set   at first time)  

I do nothing in HTF or any  200-400 MDEF  MVPs  in ThRO  
but when in iRO  I feel like it's time for revenge.....  WL in iRO can  kill some MVPs like a cake  ,  solo Bio5  etc......

 

now I'm making another class and found that  my current   ME AB is really powerful for slaying Undead/Demon   

With Abyss Dress , Valk Drops , Shrine Maiden    etc.     Insta cast  400k+  dmg ME  o_o) !! 

HOLY SH........!!!  I wish  ME AB , Priests   can be powerful like that in ThRO  ..... 

 

also tried  Doram , Rebel too.....  the classes  that's I'm waiting in ThRO   but  there's no hope to play these classes.....     

both classes are really powerful and fun to play   (Especially Rebel) 

 

 

 

now  I never go back to ThRO  anymore  /  I lost all hopes in ThRO .....   

 

staying in iRO is the last chance for me   to see what RO should be   , to get experience that's I can't get in ThRO....

the only thing i dont like is very dificult to lv but to easy to lose the xp, very annoy in a way

 

but in that, dont know im a player who just play and lv and get mad when i died, but that i just play or sell items

The only one of those that matter is renewal and it's a beyond  garbage server. The "privates can die tomorrow" argument I see thrown around sometimes to justify actually choosing this blunder is cute, seeing that europeans got absolutely thrashed on after getting milked without mercy to be able to keep up with this insane powercreep coming from p2w boxes, so anyone that stays on this dumpster has only themselves to blame when it inevitably dies in a horrible fire.

 

Would recommend playing a better MMO (there's plenty) or choosing another server.
