Many countries celebrate their independence during the summer months. Players from countries around the world unite together in our Kingdom of Rune-Midgarts, and in this Loading Screen Contest we invite you to merge the world of Ragnarok 2 with your real world. Through original art or edited screenshots, show us how you celebrate your country's history. Represent your country through flag, color use, or other patriotic imagery.

Winners will be chosen based on the quality, thoughtfulness, and celebratory feel. Multiple winners will be chosen, and final count will be determined by number of entries received.

August Happy Hour Box is Here!

August 1 to August 8, 2018

Happy Hour Boxes drop four times a day:

02:00-03:00
08:00-09:00
14:00-15:00
20:00-21:00
 
Players have a chance to get an additional box drop during this time by farming monsters within a five level range of the player that will randomly pop out a useful item.

delay at loading screen when log-in is bug? the delay time keep killing me in aggresive monster spot when i log-out   
waiting for 15-25sec just to pass loading screen.

try to change your regional language to english - united states.
**Control Panel > Regional and Language > at Format bar, change to English (United States)

already english but still crashes,  trying reinstall ro2 , but it gives another problem, " cant connect patch server "

run ro2client.exe > dont close the updater and open your RO2 folder and find "MD5FileList.txt" and deleted all the text inside and save > right click "MD5FileList.txt" > Option > Check "Read Only" > click ok, and deleted other "MD5FileList" except the MD5FileList.txt and re-start ro2client.exe

anyway, i just guessing here did you ever use any edited UI or edited Data.vdk before? if so, it might the reason why you keep crashing when trying to log-in.
for some case the new patch doesnt allow old edited VDK anymore. and when you use them, you can get banned instantly if you got caught

i think the cause of the problem was apparently one or more of system font files being corrupted, or maybe accidently replaced some content on %SYSTEMROOT%\Fonts with the other contents. The font used by the ro2 client, MS Sans Serif, being substituted for a different one that isn't legible at point 10 or 12 (whichever the client uses). This could happen if the file that contains the font MS Sans Serif was corrupted or missing.

if you using windows 7,  you can try

• - Change your Windows theme to the default one, "Windows 7". If you're already using the "Windows 7" theme, then change your theme to any other one, and then back to "Windows 7".
• - Restore Windows's default font settings.
• - Repair or restore any corrupted or missing system files (follow option 2).
• - Manually reinstall the MS Sans Serif font (follow option 2).

Which language do you use to play ro2? Just in case, I don't suggest keeping that read-only md5filelist.txt since that will prevent the patcher from updating (which is a bad fix in the long term). It's also possible your "can't connect to server" error was due to it being a maintenance period.

 

There was an issue with font files that should've been fixed recently. So clean installs of ro2 should work by now.

well, at least changing md5filelist.txt it's work to pass laucher issue for some player include me and after update success the md5filelist.txt will auto remove and back to normal

thanks its work, i tried remove text inside md5file.txt after patch complete, close launcher, remove md5file.txt , launch the game again until patch complete

 

sometimes got message "error cannot connect patch "  try again untul patch complete,

maybe my connection bad,  i tried several time until patch complete

 

BTW Crash after loading screen still exist , not fixed yet

if you have other game id, try login it. if the other game id able to login so the only way to fix character issue on the crash char only from WP support team.

both my iD tried login still crash after loading screen,after select character....may

 

maybe recent RO2 patch didn't support older graphic card anymore.

 

i use intel graphic 4 series mobile

hi thanks im able to fix the problem, ro2 blocked in my country. i used VPN ... im able to patching and enter the game without blackscreen or crashing
