I am at a loss for where to put these, so I'll put them here...

Warpportal issues:

My nickname was auto-assigned by the system, I was never given an option to change or select one. After substantial digging around, still not finding the option.

My gender was preselected for my profile by the system and is wrong.

When I try to submit a ticket relating to WarpPortal issues, hitting submit generates "Ooops. Something went wrong. This has been logged and reported.

Please try again later, or submit a ticket detailing the error you are encountering at the Support site:

https://support.warpportal.com/" (which is the page that generated the error) and does not notify me of a submitted issue, nor does it show up when I try to request a list of tickets submitted.

Hello,

You can request name change by sending a ticket, though many users are still having issues with the system.

We have some workaround posted for the support page error, see the following.

  • Try the usual Power UP error guidelines here.
  • Send a ticket with or without logging into a support account. You may refer to how to send a ticket guide for support account registration [link].
  • Ensure the ticket content/attachment are not too big. Some users were able to send a ticket when limiting their ticket content to 200 letters or less.
  • There may be a filter on the ticket message, such as "From" may cause the ticket to fail (not verified), the full report is found here.

Let us know if you are still having issues sending the ticket.

TLDR: Resubmitted with carefully keeping character counts low and it went through. Giving process I used to get there, spot it worked marked in bold red.

First option:

Try the usual Power UP error guidelines here.

Q. When I open Power UP I get PAYMENT ERROR!! Can you tell me WHY?
A. PAYMENT ERROR can be caused by:

Does not have to do with this issue.

Q. How about fixing the error?
A. Try the following in order when attempting a purchase:

I can make purchases perfectly fine, and have tried to submit support tickets in IE, Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. All fail, with and without addons in the latter two.

Q. I tried all of that non of them worked, any other suggestions?
A. ... (Link)

I'm unable to submit support tickets is the issue being reported.

Q. Additional thoughts?
A. ...

Being unable to submit support tickets via the system, I'm trying the forums here. If an email address for ticket creation is available, I haven't seen the option.

Second option:

Send a ticket with or without logging into a support account. You may refer to how to send a ticket guide for support account registration [link].

I've tried to submit tickets both logged in, and not logged in. I run into the same error page with all 4 browsers, regardless of whether I am logged in or not.

Third Option:

Ensure the ticket content/attachment are not too big. Some users were able to send a ticket when limiting their ticket content to 200 letters or less.

This finally worked. Failed in IE and Edge, worked in Chrome (with addons). Perhaps it was character count? I know my original body was longer, but I don't think it was over 200? I closed out the notepad I had it in when I came to the forums, so don't still have it for reference.

Now, for completeness sake...

This went through, and you can likely close this...

I'm wondering if was perhaps now, a temporary outage for a day? Funnily enough, trying to get this fixed since I put in an application for the volunteer program to help report issues.

Thank you for the update.

Yes as it seems the solution varies among the users, sometimes it is character count sometimes it is browser setting.

Nevertheless, I am glad you were able to send in the ticket :)

Please note, I have omitted the ticket number from the post, remember to keep it private!
