Which server do you play on? Each server has its own methods of patching, we can't assist properly if we don't know

I play on Chaos server.

I have the same problem but there's a different issue. Just got back to login my account after almost 10 years without playing. I can choose only 1 character and play the game which is my mage. For another 5 characters, I get message "Disconnected from server" after choosing one of them. Trying many time but same result. I can play only my mage. Please help.

Are you using an older installation/client? If yes, I'd suggest that you download the latest release from the official website [link] or mirror links.
If the issue persists after performing a refresh reinstall then, try suggested solution #4 found here.
Keep us updated by either posting here or opening a new topic in this section.
