Maintenance Notes
Patch Version 0.6.86, Client Version: 10.3.1.0
Server Maintenance

DS-Events.png

Galaxia Support Box Drop Event
This event is ending.

Sweets Ingredients Box Drop Event
This event is ending.

DS-Changes.png
Significant Changes to the Game

F7 Modes
- to enter the F7 mode every party member has to have the quest Official Appointment and the Scenario (F5) quest of the particular Mission Map completed to be able to participate in the F7 mode

- all monster's base EXP in F7 mode is halved

- if 3 or more party members are participating in F7 together the big Bonus Bombers' HP is doubled

- players are not longer able to obtain event world drops (including Silver Coins) on any F7 ground

- the attack increasing skill which can be obtained from the NPC inside F7 has been changed to only have 3 levels instead of 4

Hero Quests!
All Hero Quests (the ones with red exclamation mark) are now chained together in some way. This means, to be able to complete the Scenario Mode (F5) of any Mission Map it is needed to meet new quest requirements first.

Here is an overview which Quest needs which requirement:
HeroQuests.jpg

The level requirement for the Quest To Ash Mist has been changed from Lv. 60 to 53.

Dungeons

To participate in a Dungeon all party members need to meet specific requirements first to enter the Dungeon. Here is an overview which Quests need to be completed to enter the particular Dungeon:

Dungeons.jpg

It is recommended to complete all Hero Quests to get full game experience and to make sure that no requirement is left undone.

Galaxia Dungeon
Several changes have been made to the Galaxia Dungeon.

- on Saturday and Sunday all dungeons are accessible

- the quest to get the Star Stones appear on their particular weekday as well as on Saturday and Sunday

- the quest to get the entry items appear on their particular weekday as well as on Saturday and Sunday

- the dependency on the Black Dragon Lord's gear to forge the Protector of Stars gear (including weapon) has been removed

- after finishing the Galaxia questline (Quest: In search if Pios) and completing the Quest Top of Drakos the Quest Protector of Stars automatically appears. After completion of Protector of Stars all materials to forge Protector of Stars gear and weapon can be obtained from Crete

General Changes
- the initial quest of the Akanai quest chain has been renamed from Kill Akanai! to Prepare yourself to kill Akanai! to prevent confusion

- the Lavalon Seal Remover Key (which is obtained from Rokko inside the Magma Dungeon) has been made tradeable in case that another party member accidentally gets the key instead of the party leader

Soul Gems
A new Soul Smith arrived in town. Welcome Dark Soul Smith Baron to Port of the Winds.
When talking to him a new menu Craft Soul Gem is available.

DarkSoulSmith.jpg

How are Soul Gems used?
There are 5 different Soul Gems available. Each of them is representing one of the five heroes: Skypie, Mirinae, Parmir, Belkan and the 5th hero.

The following weapons are able to hold these Soul Gems:

Dark Soul Weapon
[Best] Dark Soul Weapon
Fire Weapon
Ice Weapon
Nature Weapon
Dark Weapon
Magma Lord Weapon
Magichenge Weapon
Undead Bone Weapon
Element Bone Weapon
Zauharant Weapon
Black Dragon Lord Weapon
Black Dragon Lord Element Weapon
[Rare] Protector of Stars Weapon
[Hero] Protector of Start Weapon
[Advanced] 5th Hero Weapon
[Hero] 5th Hero Weapon

SoulGemPossibility.jpg

SoulGemsUpgr.jpg

Each Soul Gem can be inserted once into one of these weapons. A weapon can hold all 5 different Soul Gems.
SoulGemWeapon.jpg

Important! Soul Gems can only inserted into a weapon that is either soulbound (for example Zauharant Weapons) or account bound (for example Magma Lord Weapon).

Inserted Soul Gems can't be removed (however, we will introduce an IM Soul Gem Extractor soon).

What is the purpose of Soul Gems?
Inserting Soul Gems reduces the difference between the minimum and maximum Attack Value of the particular weapon by a specific percentage which is class dependent.

Here is an overview of the percentage for every class:
SoulGemsInc.jpg

How do I obtain Soul Gems?
You can craft Soul Gems at NPC Baron. The base material needed to craft a Soul Gems is Devil's Soul Stones. You can obtain those by killing monsters in any available hidden map.

Soul Gem crafting
The first Soul Gem (Skypie's Soul Gem) needs 150 Devil's Soul Stones to be forged. The success chance for the first Soul Gem is always 100% and does not cost any gold.

The second Soul Gem (Mirinae's Soul Gem) needs 200 Devil's Soul Stones and one Skypie's Soul Gem to be forged. The success chance is 25% and costs 3 gold per attempt. If an attempt fails the 200 Devil's Soul Stones are gone but the Soul Gem isn't destroyed.

An overview of needed materials and gold and the success chances can be found below.

By adding an Enchant Insurance Scroll the success chance is increased by 15% and 50% of the needed Devil's Soul Stones are protected if the attempt fails.

By adding an additional Reinforced Insurance Scroll the success chance is increased by another 10% and 75% of the needed Devil's Soul Stones are protected if the attempt fails.

New Hidden Map for Level 80-85
We are proud to introduce the new Hidden Map Concordia Pass. Hidden Scrolls for this map are dropped by Harkon (Snowy Mountain), Elluman (Forest Glade) and Ailon (Perimeter-B).

I'm intrigued by the purpose of the changes for Quests and Dungeon Entry requirements. If quests are a major player in the future way to enjoy the full game experience I feel like if the plan is to diverge away from F7 and focus more on Quests+Expert Mode then the quest side of things for the 40-65 range should get a buff of sorts.

But let's be real, I'm more hyped to see what a max set of Soul Gems will do for my Hero 5th Hero blade. That much of a gap close for Min and Max attack is actually a huge overall buff.

Beside galaxy change. Any of you guys have other change about quest?

Quest chain together is good, however, for already max level player who want to do vendous forest expert mode, he could go back to clear that low level quest.

Why? Low level quest do not get exp for a level 85 player.

So, please add a IM-instant-clean for all quest, thank you.

Even with the F7, nowadays is half of before patch. Do you think is there anyone still buy beans? Maybe someone who does not care money will buy.And the bonus stage bombs, if teammate all afk, how can 1 person kill that 4 of almost 400hp?

About soul gem, umm, soul gem can not be traded? really?

Memorize our old dragon saga, nowadays it is so confused.

( You guys not only want to mention contents by you made should be useful and doable and not skipable for players. Therefore, you chain

all quest together. I know your mood, but how come I stuck the requirement for underground graveyard? No detail for each quest, ask people they said I already done that or I do not know. Oh, I am not blame other players.)

So change that chain quest please!!!!! :Emo_19:   :Emo_19:

If GM decided to let player spend more time on story quest and nerft every aspect of F7 grinding, then you guys should increase the reward of hero quest, A finished quest level 70 for a level 70 player can't give at least 0.10% of their EXP

Give story quest a better reward if you guys would like to force players spending more time in the story instead of nerfting F7 and expect people to complete the story quest

Just my opinion and sorry for my bad English

Thank you

Just wondering what would be the point of having (soon) IM gem extractors if we can’t trade them in the first place. Maybe to put to different weapon of the same player? Just a thought. Ty for the reply

For example if you used the Magichenge Weapon on lower levels you could put the gems already on it

After creating Fifth Hero weapon or Pos Weapon you extract the gems and lay them on these weapons..

2nd thing i would say is if you have a 5th hero weapon and you create a new, better one with better special options and you want this weapon to become your main weapon.

Personal opinions incoming...dont bother reading if your easily offended...having man cramps(sorry ladies) or listen to music by Drake...

F7 is overrated anyway...this exp "nerf" as it will be called...or rather cried about...is pretty insignificant.  Im still laughing at all the nerds who relentlessly spam F7 like its Taylor Swifts newest hit... :p_sick: ...disregard that last part.  But seriously...half of you stand around basically begging for "someone anyone please to open F7!!"  oh, and lets not forget those desperately seeking a "bomber"...seriously?  So you need someone to open...someone to build...and someone to kill bombs so you can casually AFK after stage 10?  These changes to F7 were long overdue, and im glad to finally see the change.

The changes to galaxia and the POS set however...i dont see being necessary.  The POS set IS still considered "end-game"...why make "end-game" items THAT easy to obtain?  It takes away from the overall experience and now that weekends are a free for all for daily galaxia dungeons it makes galaxia farming more or less a waste of time.  Wonderful...   Might as well remove the restrictions to enter all together!  Decision-wise......almost as bad as the overpowered IM sets released to distract people that all of Europe just got the boot.  And yes...they are overpowered.  Yay...I can now cap MS and AS at lvl1...thanks for that.

Blah...im done ranting now.  Wait, one more thing...ill make it quick though.  I also dont really think that the mid levels need a "boost" of any sort regarding EXP gains.  It should not be a quick process reaching lvl85(coming from someone who went from 1-85 in just a few days).

There...done now.  If you were offended by anything mentioned above...get over it, its not that serious.  Try re-reading it with the mindset that the person speaking is in no way attempting to be serious.  Apologies for the man cramp thing...i can see that being a tad "insensitive"  LOL

Are you out of the loop maybe? ;) The end-game set is now 5th Hero not PoS. :)

No, not out of the loop.  Keep in mind the " " around "end-game".  Im fully aware of the newest set.  Before this update, how did one obtain POS...by trading black dragon lord.  How was black dragon lord acquired...by, at the time, end game boss...oh and galaxia.  Its already become just a memory.  xD  Now POS goes into 5th hero......side thought.....does this hero have an actual name?  hmm...topic for another day perhaps.  Back on track...POS goes into 5th hero...the *clears throat* official end game set.  Its not like the sets are really that different from one another.  And before anything else...yes...I am fully aware of the bonuses each set gives.  But for those of us that capped AS, MS, Crit rate and Crit Damage...the set comes across somewhat lackluster.  Dont get me wrong, I think the new content is wonderful and all be it small, a breath of fresh air.  I am in no way bashing the effort that was put into it all.  But feedback is feedback, and discussions can sometimes be healthy for a game.  For example...instead of EVERY class ending up the EXACT same when maxed out...why not use the opportunity created by a new set to diversify a mage from a warrior...a gladiator to a hunter.  Each class does have something the others dont, why not showcase it?  Archers with attack range for instance.  Just food for thought.  Again, not bashing you guys for your hard work.  Cheers...
