Hello to my fellow Rangers.

 

I'm building a crit ranger and I just want to know if I'm on the right track.

 

My Stats are:

 

Level 174

 

Str: 22 + 8 

Agi: 110 +36

Vit: 60 + 29

Int: 3 + 22

Dex: 120 + 40

Luk: 120 + 27

Crit: 150

Atk: 274 + 539

Aspd: 190

 

With Improved Concentration and True Sight:

 

Str: 22 + 13

Agi: 110 + 55

Vit: 60 + 34 

Int: 3 + 27

Dex: 120 + 61 

Luk: 120 + 32

Crit 161

Atk: 282 + 539

Aspd 193 w/ Awakening

 

Gear:

 

+10 Old Camo w/ Angra Mantis Card Acute 5/Dex4/Dex3

Gambler's Seal

Heart Card in Mouth

+10 WWS w/ Angry Nine Tail Card Sharp1/Sharp2/Str1

+15 Crimson Bow w/ 2 Aunoe Cards

+9 FAW w/ Petal Card Fatal4/Fatal3/Fatal3

+12 Temp Luk Boots LD/AD4

Luminous Blue Stone w/ G. Scaraba Card

PDM w/ G. Scaraba Card

 

Im hitting 11.9k w/ Improve Con. and True Sight while 38.7k w/ Improve Con., True Sight and Unlimit. on Eggs

Currently Acquiring RG Shield for Shield Spell.

 

My question is, should I drop the Sharp enchants on WWS and go for EA enchants?

Is my gear giving me low damage output or is it normal?

 

Any answers and suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

I honestly would go for 126 luk to get 100% bypass from PDM.

 

For gears, drop the Sharp on WWS and go for EA, you can also use Temporal Ring in place of LBS and 2 AK instead of 2 Aunoes.

the sharp is what makes luminous works well there XD (the combo i mean) and if i remember correctly ea on ranger isn't as significant as for other classes because they tend to have high ranged damage% already, especially with no limit on. But yeah sharp is important for luminous combo, not too sure if you use temp ring instead of luminous but i like sharp anyway XD

Stats I would recommend for you would be...

 

1 str

90 agi

75 vit

1 int

120 dex

126 luk

 

Any remaining stat points from base 174 and eventually 175 I would recommend Str for the extra carry weight.

 

As for gear...

 

+10 Old Camo w/ Angra Mantis Card Acute 5/Dex4/Dex3 - Replace Angra Mantis with Marduk Card, silence sucks.

Gambler's Seal + Heart Card in Mouth - Perfect since you are pure warg!

+10 WWS w/ Angry Nine Tail Card Sharp1/Sharp2/Str1 - Perfect! Though you could technically get more WWS and put in elemental cards, Swordfish and Evil Druid are very useful.

+15 Crimson Bow w/ 2 Aunoe Cards - Drop Aunoe Cards for 2x Abysmal Knight Cards, this will give you a lot more damage.

+9 FAW w/ Petal Card Fatal4/Fatal3/Fatal3 - Perfect!

+12 Temp Luk Boots LD/AD4 - Absolutely Fine, however if I may recommend, I use +7 Gray Wing Boots. You lose a little critical damage, but gain Demi Resistance, Perma Move Speed Increase, 20% HP/SP, 10% Ranged Damage and 2% more ASPD over the AD buff from Temp Crit.

Luminous Blue Stone w/ G. Scaraba Card - Swap this G Scaraba Card for an Owl Baron Card, Lex auto cast is great!

PDM w/ G. Scaraba Card - Best in slot, never get rid of this, just make sure you run 126 base luk for full 100% defense bypass

 

These changes should push your damage up by quite a bit and add more versatility to how you can play and encounter MVPs.

 

P.S Hogbae recommended getting rid of Sharp enchants, don't EVER trade them for EA, EA on WW suit not only sucks a lot for Rangers, but you would lose a huge damage bonus from your Lumi Blue Stone.

Nirvanna21 I cant reach 193 aspd if i reduce my agi to 90. Im only using awakes cause food buffs are expensive.

I worked it out and you should be fine, unless you are missing and ASPD garment?

i say you go resentful soldier + AK card on your weapon.

Don't ever use Resentful soldier. Ever.

 

And yes, Awake and Celermine are different types of ASPD boost.

Ranged Damage is nice as a sub addition, like how a White Wing Suit gives it per upgrade or how Gray Wing Boots just adds it on, but as a direct choice such as a card or enchant, it's pretty -_- pointless.

 

No Limits gives you 350% ranged damage, so all existing sources may as well be a glass of water thrown into a pool.

ah i didnt know NL gives ranged damage instead of overall damage. i thought it was a damage boost like dark claw.

I would still use 2x AK over 2x RS any day for AS or AB.

Even though 95% of regular monsters will die in a single AS even without no limits, the rest simply require a single camo in between.

Pretty easy actually, three options.

1. use Prism Ranger Scarf
2. use +14 GHB
3. use +15 CB no cards

post 30 minutes videos of your ranger, no cowardice teleporting and let the spectators see how many deaths you'll get
