Pretty good estimate, but lets just say 585 accounts but not players. There are so many players playing multiple characters at the same time. Dual, or triple, or more clinets is super normal. When I run malangdo, I open 4 clients at least, not to mention the ones have more accounts than me, and the ones brewing, etc

note: idk how many "real" players in woe because of duals and bots..sooo..that's why i think its less than 200 xD

Speculating regarding the number of active playing users isn't really constructive, as these estimates never take into account that through out the day some users log in and other users log out. The real number of accounts that play the game every week is into the tens of thousands, with bots and spammers really only being a small percentage of it.

I have 2 shops open, one alt AFK at eden, one more at LHZ. and I know some people has over 6 alts at a giving time. No counting I have over 15 accounts and every day I logged in like 2 or 3 times with different accounts. A single person may counts by x3 or x4 accounts, even in some cases x10. This is very common at veteran players. and a very common in botters, wich leave many accounts automated.

 

I think a real number cant be say at this point. The only way to check that its by the ammount of different IP Address at a day. This number its only known by the iRO Staff. However, base estimations on the ammount of accounts that login in a week may be wrong.

 

My estimation goes for the last server restart we had and it counts only the ammount of people playing at the same time and it may be wrong too. I know must be users sleeping/working/doing whatever else, but we need to be honest here. iRO needs more love. and a bot patrol ofc.

•••••• Warpportal do really good job, those botters belong to hell, really healthy server, depend on how you care about the quality of the game, if you see a bot, copy its nick, the reporting it in here:

1 bot report can lead to so many account related (GM can track IP and detect how much ID related to the IP), bot as far as I can see is those bot farmer, farming strawberry, last time I pass Comodo Island it so clean, no bot farm Aloe in there.

 

No need to worry about bots, if they bothering you, try not yo interact (whispering) or even say hi, just copy the suspect nick, open the link above and a few day later you see the place clean, especially maps full with LV 99 bots.

 

Really, just ignore those bot farm, they are just a garbage, belong to a garbage can.

Lol, people should probably stop acting like bots account for a large percentage. All the zeny sellers are duping the zeny, not botting them.

i still think this number is too low. The bots you assume on the auto login, have a huge amount being vend bots, so that means you double count quite a lot of vends in determining active players.

Apparantly none of you have heard of the Invisible guild that consist of approx 8K players who only resides in Bifrost far far away from the ROPD bot. Hense why the population number only shows 2K players at any given time.

When looking at a snapshot of players logged in, you need to think that they are on at that time, but likely will not be online for 24hours unless it is a vending person. So if we guess that even 6 hours later a lot of the people who were online are now off and the online numbers are the same, it means those are new players making the player counter look the same but it is different people. Many people play casual and only log in for short amounts here and there and sometimes go weeks without logging in. They may not be noticed as much because they only play in small groups of friends.

I feel the iRO population overall is higher than many people would guess since most people only look at the online right now numbers.

good one camp, you should check out spores, magmarings, any map with people on it really. If you guys had a bothunter team youd knew how wrong you are on the "small percentage" part. But yea, for sure there are ten thousands of peoples logging in every week, absolutely. ROPD is probably just fake news.

good joke. lmao 10k unique accounts per week, how many of those are alts or logins from the same IP/machine? how about those who log on to their zeny holder accounts for 1 min to transfer funds? let's not inflate the numbers by counting the number of unique account logins per week lol. OP asked how many real (unique) players are still in the game. if i have 1 main + 10 alts i shouldn't count as 11 players.
