Hi, I have a level 112 artisan, and am currently in the process of using a 2:1 Con:Dex build, with more going into Dex(my own pref).

Im just learning attack skills like hypno shot and poison shot, and terror knight. By doing this, I hope to level faster to get to a more higher level, at which stage I will then skill/stat reset as necessary.

I've got a few questions for when I get to that stage

1. I want to craft Carts, Face items and back items, along with cut gems. What Stats do I need for these? Im reading a lot things about a full CON arti and a full SEN arti, but which would I need, if any?

2. At what level would it be advisable to start crafting? Again, I read that to cut gems, it's advisable to be at least level 215 as that will give me the highest success.

3. Final question  I also read that Castle Gear crafts are 100% success providing you have the materials for it. Is this the same for any other item? Is PAT crafting a guaranteed success? Basically, what has a chance of failure, and what doesn't?

Thanks to any current artisan or knowledgeable player that can help me with this.

Cheers,

Esilience.

Castle Gear was the only thing ever said to give 100% success.

You will not be able to craft everything you listed on the same artisan - or at least not well.

For Pat Crafting and Gem crafting - those can been done on a full con artisan because stas don't matter.

For Face Item and Back Item crafting - you will want to do those on a full sen artisan or no one will buy them because they won't have very good stats.

You could do all of those with a full con crafter - but stats would not be good.

You will not be able to craft gem (7)s with a sen crafter. You need over 1100con pref about 1150 if possible.

When you do start crafting - once you put all the materials in the window it will tell you if the craft is going to be easy/fair/hard/etc. It is best to be max level(220) to craft anything now - but you can try sooner if you want - just be prepared for lots of fails.

Thanks for the reply Wirts.

1 more question I have. Would it be a good idea to start crafting PAT with the level I have, in order to make money for later? Or is my level still too low to have any chance of success?

Thanks

i think that i noticed the success chance missing, for me when they implemented the new UI. it was reported then but the devs havent said boo about fixing this.
while on the subject is there any reason that crowns, from level 9 basic armor craft, have to have max sen and con to craft? IMO it should either be craftable by a lvl 90-100 char, as the dev team indicatd that you need to be about the same level as the skill you are tryin to craft to accomplish it, or be moved to advanced craft if they are going to have it be impossible before lvl 200 or maxed stats.
