At about 11:45pm CST, I log out to the character selection screen to find that all of my characters have vanished...poof.

 

I checked other accounts and all of the characters have been deleted as well. I've reset the client, computer, etc.; the problem persists. I've spoken with other people and their characters are gone, too.

 

Seems that the character server has died.

It seems to be an issue with the character server, rest assured the characters are not deleted.
