why does holy light bypass GTB? @_@ isnt it a magic skill?

Should be, is it cast by a mob or a player? e.g, Valkyire may cast a very similar skill to that in which GTB doesn't block, if I remember correctly.

yes exactly. valkyrie or randgris casted a skill which have holy light animation and i just thought wtf did i die from that

Yah nah, Valk will definitely keep you on your toes no matter what you're packing.

Holy element armor+ heavy neutral reduction and nothing she does will hurt you (except EQ, coz it's EQ)

yep, there's a few skills that are physical-based w/ additional element attachment and gtb will not block those.
example: ^^this is why people die while wearing DR/gtb trying to tank coelacanth^^

the main reason ppl get confused with these kinds of attacks from mvps is due to their natural attacking range. Skills receive a +1 to whatever natural range it is, so, since valk for example has a 3 cell range for her autos, she can hit you with a skill from a 4 cell distance, wich paired with the same visual effect as the spell, confuses a bunch of ppl.
