i was so hyped getting the set just then

 

only to realized it only affects PATK mods

 

is this intentional? or a bug?

 

so apparently doesn't increase MATK to boss monsters?

I think it should, because similar racial shadow shoes and shield combo boost both physical and magical damage.

It's always only been physical.

sad but true. this game has always favored P over M. then again, end game there are really only 4 prominent caster types: sorc/warlock/nin&kage&obo/magicat. anything else is hybrid fun (sorry super noobs/autocasters)

uhhh, sir, ninjas do better magic damage than cats :U(and actually most good geared autocasters)

LOL. For him pretty much or failed pre-school/Bded . maybe he will waste $$$ on getting a Magical shadow set for GX  and say it doesn't increases his P.atk. topkek

You probably have not read iRO Wiki. That's ok. Everyone makes mistakes. Now you can also check iRO Wiki too. Most of information there is accurate.

 

 

 

Liberation set will always be needed. You can sell it definitely. Always check with many resources to make sure.

hint: maybe they'll come out with a magical version of the lib set in the future? why make $ off of one beast shadow gear set when you can split the damage types and double up lol

I fixed the descriptions of all shadow gears we had in game about... a year ago I think, but the changes never did make the light of day haha.

unfortunately that is always the case for iRO. although the fact that the description in game should be more accurate than any other sources still remains

I got redirected to this thread, report the issue here and we will look into it. Please, do not report things such as "check all shadow gears", not that we won't but try to be as specific as possible, this is to speed things up
