Just wanted to say that I've been away from online PC games in general for quite some time. I had some good memories of playing RO2 in the past, and suggested to one of my friends that we should play together. My friend was interested and decided that they would create an account to play with me. I went to Aeria Games website, only to realize I couldn't find their launcher thing which I had used to download the game. I tried to Google it, only to find that the launcher was closed. I decided to come to this website, where I found this post: http://playragnarok2...ews/article/556. The post said to submit a ticket and the staff could would be able to convert accounts. Thus, I did what it said.
Well, nothing happened even remotely similar to what this post said. The support staff member opens his ticket by replying to me that he is denying my request for account transfer and that he won't help me because Aeria Games closed their service one year ago. I'm deeply offended by this. I've spent money on my RO2 account in the past, I'm promoting your game to my friends, and this is the type of reply I receive from the Warp Portal support about a topic which clearly has listed in their news they'll assist players with. There was never any news that I could find which said that there was a set period for account transfers, nor was there any post that said anything about an ending to support for Aeria Games accounts. Even if there was, how could I have known anything about this when I had not played online games for long before any of this even happened?
Needless to say, I am not impressed with this situation at all. I have basically been blamed for Aeria Games closing their service, which is something entirely out of my own control. I'm also losing money on a game which I had invested in during the past. I've also wasted my friend's time because they've now downloaded something and neither one of us is going to play it now. Warp Portal, your support is costing your game money and players. I am boycotting your company, and I'll never recommend any of your company's games to anyone ever again. I most likely will not check the replies to this unless the support apologizes to me and fixes this problem, but I felt I should at least post something somewhere so there is feedback on just how poorly your support is handling it's player base.
There wasn't anything to rate your support, but if there was, that support person would most definitely have the worst rating I could possibly give them and I'd highly recommend getting rid of them or else changing your company's support policies. This is just no way at all to be treating incoming players who have done nothing to wrong your company.
