Hi All,

 

I just got my hands on an enforcer shoes and am fairly new to MA build. I've been actively reading forums to get as much info. but am hoping to get some advice from you guys. Here is my current build:

 

Level 127 GX

 

 

With regards to stat build I was wondering whether it would be worth swapping points between Vit and Agi (90 Vit, 54 Agi) to get more sustainability. Given I wouldn't benefit much from agi stat due to running MA for leveling (please correct me if I'm wrong here) and gain additional 10% neutral resistance from HBP.

 

I also have Luk at 90 to achieve 75% def bypass + 20% from PDM. I am looking to card PDM with GS eventually. My Nab Cloth is currently FS9.

 

I see people talking about enchanting OBC with ME3 to remove the fixed cast of 0.25s but I do not have access to that gear at the moment. I was thinking of either slotting my Keraunos with a Phen Card or purchasing a Valkyrie Drop [Phen]. With Valkyrie Drop MA seems to be almost insta-cast from what I've seen on videos. Even with the loss of 5% ATK / 5% HP by dropping Keraunos, the DPS alone seems like it would be higher if I go for that. Can I get some suggestions on which route to take here?

 

Also in terms of Zeny I am pretty broke now after spending it all on PDM, Enforcers and Rideword. I know some use a Love Piece or Imperial Glove to prevent cast interruption but I don't have the means to afford those for now which is why at the moment I am looking for a cheaper solution - Either slot the Keraunos with a Phen card or purchase Valkyrie Drop [Phen] which I am leaning more towards to. Would be great to hear your suggestions.

dont purchase valk drop now. it's already october. the 50% fixed cast time effect for all skills will be gone soon.

Thanks I wasn't aware of this. Are you saying they are going to reverse the fixed cast time effect to be for AB only? Also was wondering whether Vit stat is more important for MA build compared to Agi.

dex is more important, i dont think you need to get more agi or vit at this point, propably you can already 2-3 hit mobs with ma and that is good already. Hitting mobs is just my concern

just use any accessory with phen. then aim for ME3 OBC

Obc is not needed now coz lvl requirement for that headgear is lvl 170. Honestly i would get spellflow shadow set instead of phen. That shadow set is very cheap right now due to current event. If you really cant afford it, you should ask help from someone to do the quest with you. Just provide map piece and they are happy to help you. If you're unlucky when open shadow box, just sell those unwanted shadow gear and buy spellflow shadow from vendor instead. You will get complete set eventually.

Your chance is now to get those shadow gears cheap. Later on, they will be expensive.

You can't go wrong with Spellflow (and you'll get additional mileage out of it with any mage characters, etc.), but for leveling a GX, I'd personally prefer to run the Malicious shadow set. There's not a wrong choice here, though.

 

Like BlackCat said, it's likely that Valk Drop will lose its universal fixed cast time reduction soon, but that would've been the godsend item. 

 

How's your leveling been going, though? I'd strongly recommend gathering coins from the TLAP event while you can, which you can spend on BMx3 buffs.

I've just noticed the level requirement for OBC so won't think about it for now. I've done plenty of Drake runs for TLAP - Managed to secure myself Malicious and Physical set so I'm rolling with those for now. Wasn't able to get any Spellflow drops but I'm pretty happy with my set atm.

 

I also ended up carding my Keraunos with Phen just to play it safe regarding Valkyrie Drop changes.

 

Got spare coins from TLAP and yes I've been spamming that BMX buff. So far no problems running high TI solo as its really easy for me to self sustain with my current leeching setup.

 

With regards to leveling I don't really have time to play much, but gonna probably head over to Scaraba soon as I've just hit level 130.

Nah I've been doing El Discastes and Biolabs TI. Their a lot quicker for me compared to gramps as I can constantly turn them in.

Going to move on to NCT once I hit 150 and I'll definitely have enough dex for it by then.

Do Verus after you hit 140. If you make it decently far down that quest line, you end up in a lab with a lot of Smelly Zombies and Smelly Ghouls. The other monsters are good XP too, but the zombie variants mob easier.

 

If you're between 130-140, Juperos is honestly workable for a long while (coupled with the Juno bounty board turn-ins).
