With the coming end of DST in the west, and the start of DST mainly in Oceania, are there any plans on adjusting TE times? I know there have been threads about this before, the most recent one at the start of this year's DST adjustment. A majority of the WoE TE scene players come from Asia and Oceania, and it would be great if the time is adjusted to cater to this. This would mean that for West Coast North Americans, it would be moved earlier to 7am on a Sunday. It kinda sucks for them, I understand, but this just seems to make sense for the majority of players.
I personally lead a TE guild and I have spoken to a few of my members based in North America and they've told me they'll be mostly fine with the change. Most other of my guild members would have to stay up later than usual and have work commitments the next day, so it doesn't make sense to continue to play. I know there are other guilds participating in WoE TE and this problem is not just limited to my own, so I'd also appreciate it if people from other guilds posted their thoughts on this.
There's been a lot of WoE discussion going on and a thread particularly set aside for that, but I didn't want this to get lost in a random page over there. Like most people said, the WoE scenes are pretty dead compared to before. For TE this is a small step in trying to keep it alive so an official response to this issue would be great.
Edit:
Current WoE TE time: 8am PDT
Petitioning for: 7am PST (after daylight savings ends, to keep the time reasonable for asian timezones)
There are currently 3 major TE guilds in the scene, and people from those guilds have posted and would like to have it moved to this time. There are a few other guilds that run around in TE but I don't know if they have posted their thoughts yet.
