I have some questions regarding the best headgear for GXs and I wonder if I could get some opinions from the experts... well I have a hybrid GX Katar Crit/RC, and currently my default HG are +9 Vanagard (to lech sp and hp) and +13 White dropping Edga (for general purposes) and for specifics I use  +9 Pure White Marching Hat, +9 Magician Knit Hat, +9 Safety Glasses. I was seriously considering to make a OBC for the bonuses but then I saw the other hats that are coming to the server such as Work Cap (Mecha), Devil Hands (Sura), King Spirit Crown (Sorc) (not yet in the server) which most of them do the same or even better than a high refined BIO5 headgear and I was wondering if its worth it to do a OBC (considering that refining and cost in general is quite expensive) or should I just stick with my current HGs and wait till a GX version of these hats makes its way to the server. 

 

*I mostly do instances and MVPing with my GX and very sporadically WOE.

go for it you wont regret. after you got that OBC you probably leave most of your headgear listed there.

this obc is kinda one helm to rule them all.

you can get one with Mettle as an all purpose hat. Not like you don't want one anyways, since CRS is stupid strong.

Eddga does just fine on pretty much everything too.
Just don't make an Acute hat, of you are not going for like lv5+ :T

^i recall something like a squirrel thing which gives acute5 like damage crit and defense ignore or something like that

ASPD +1, critical damage +10%.
Ignore target's DEF by 10%.
CRIT +5 when dealing long ranged attack.

If refined to +5:
ASPD +1, critical damage +2%.
Ignore target's DEF by 20%.
CRIT +10 when dealing long ranged attack.

If refined to +7:
ASPD +1, critical damage +6%.
Ignore target's DEF by 30%.
CRIT +15 when dealing long ranged attack.

If refined to +9:
ASPD +1, critical damage +12%.
Ignore target's DEF by 40%.
CRIT +20 when dealing long ranged attack.
When dealing physical attacks, has a chance to get buffed with critical damage +100% for 5 seconds.

not sure but last month there was one for SC buffing feint bomb in kRO ragcan and for this month one for Sorc so I wouldn't be surprised if the bring one for Crit or RC GX.

I just remembered when my friend said that there's hg for critical, so this is it. This hg would absolutely rules the world. So OP!

so until the crit har arrives I have done and Old bone circlet, now my questions is which card would you recomend for the headgear, considering that my build is katar RC/crit, what should I prioritize? Crit or ATK? normally for cheap attack I add Dark pinguicula but I was thinking if it was a better idea to add fury card instead or Angra mantis instead. any thoughts?

 

*I have noticed that fury hero card is a weapon attack modifier considering that I use mostly crimson katar +15 (weapon lvl3) is this the best option?

Sadly I don't own a JDR, but I am farming it as much as I can.... (Damn you JACK and your freaking drop rate). So Far I use only +15 crimson Katar so I guess that this would be my best option at the moment,  I did get tho a VM Katar Holy that I have +10 but not sure if it will match the crimson katar as just have one slot (which would be for a AK card) while the Crimson Katar has 2 slots.
