I want to sell HD Elunium on my character and I have a bunch. Is it okay to use a macro to help speed up the process? Is macroing the same as "automating"? Thank you for your help.

Macro can be use to setup automated play and people have been banned for doing it before. Manual clicking of a key to perform a certain task/macros are fine as long as the player is actually there to push the button.

The goal with macro usage is to not automate gameplay, in this example I'd say it is closer to automation.

If you want to be safe, please avoid it, if GM team decided to give a visit and you weren't able to respond to them it won't end well.
