Hi guys!

 

Has anyone experienced dying because your homunculus don't rescue you when the attacking Orc Archer is on the opposite side of your homun's place engaged on a mob?

 

The homunculus will just stop attacking its engaged target and hangs in that place doing nothing. Consequently, you'll end up dying.

 

I have configured it on default tactics, still would hang.

Another, configured it to rescue tactics and priority kill, also would hang.

Also configured movebounds and followStayBack to be proximate to me but not far enough it won't reach the Orc Archer.

 

Is this also happening to other players or just me? What do you think would help in the configuration?

AFAIK, it bugs out when it walks off screen.

From experience, most important config when it comes to your scenario is to set the move bounds to 9 cells or less, but not too low. Don't use the default value, I think it was 12.

In terms of tactics for #1189, try:

  • React High
  • Always use skills
  • Kiting as never
  • Snipe OK
  • Rescue all of the above
  • Chase as normal

Thank you and yes, I have tried that out. 

 

The homun wasn't out of screen. It's 7~ cells away from me engaged on Orc Skeleton and the Orc Archer is of appeared 6~ cells away from me, but on the opposite side. 

 

I am setting out the weight on each tab, hope this would help. I'll post my find later.

Didn't die as much when I've defaulted the weights on each mob. But yeah, sometimes the homun still gets overwhelm on where it needs to be.
