What's the average to +15 crimson weapons?

I used 100 ores to refine my +10 Crimson Mace to +13

It got up to +14 four times but it failed at +10 more than 25 times, which was odd.

Should upgrade hero plate to 14 or leave it at 12? Please enlighten me expert RGs

 

Not the best advice but +15 is the prettiest number, so +15 Hero plate is a goal. Before you start throwing money in the game, keep in mind of 1.4k online chracters, including bots and alts lol

I am getting an average of 1 +12 item per 100 stone box. Thats kinda meh for a total of 5 boxes.

 

Tried to +13 16.1 robes and came out +10. 

 

In a nutshell my policy will continue to be: buy everything possible already refined.and pest WP to lift account bound items as much as possible.

I bought most of the ore I used w/ z, I think I only bought 1 carnium box w/ KP.

 

Tried for +14 HTM but only got 1x +13 after 400 ores so went back to some easier ones. Made another 2 +14 Imperial spears to sell some other time with one pack of bradium.

Is 14 hero plate worth it or should it leave it at 12

My plate was already at +13. I had ores left so I figured I might get lucky. About 2500 ores later I got +14. I don’t think it’s worth going to 14, but at least +13 it. I first played ro in 2004 when it was subscription. I love the game so I’m happy to support it with money. Someone asked if it was zeny or money I used. It was all money except for 1 box which I bought from vend. I recorded the replay of my refine misfortune, not sure if I will make a YouTube video out of it. Don’t want to scare people from refining. I’m the only one I know who reached about 2500 ores that I know of.

Actually I had pondered about spending $2-4K USD to get +16 JDR but because GM has been slacking off on updates and with the declining population in game I have put that idea on hold for now. If there is improvement in the summer I will reconsider this with next mad bunny event.

+14 old bone circlet - 237 ores
+14 consultation robe - 416 ores
+14 hero trade mail - 2837 ores (ouch and wtf!)
+14 red twin edge - 539 ores

Average - 1007 ores (slightly worse than 890 calculated average)

Sweet I’m not alone! Everyone on my discord is listing their great luck and success. Looks like it’s a good idea to stay away from the hero armours. My hero trade mail is at +13 and that is where it’ll stay. At least the consolation prize from all this are the safe certs and mad bunnies.

Did you upgrade HTM nonstop on the same day/time? If I were you, I’d take 1-2 days break after failing at the 1000 or at worse 1500.

+14 Hero Plate is worth if it you are going to be serious with using Vanishing Point using weapons like:

     +14 Glorious Spear.

     +14 Gelerdria
     +14 Poison Forged Spear

 

My Acute 4 Old Casket, +11 Hero Plate, +12 G.Spear and Sarah Earring setup did 270K VP on my naked alt in PvP.
(Inspiration and Gentle Convert buff)

With +14 G.Spear, Imperial Glove, and Mettle 5 it would be around 430K.

I am not really serious about having RG as my main.

I do use +16 imperial spear and ring along with hero brooch and hero plate.

People already pointed out diminishing return as imperial boots also gives VP bonus.

So probably should just leave hero plate at +12?

I’m not sure about 12-14, but going from 10-12 gave me extra 30k dmg on my VP. I haven’t tested my 14 hero plate yet since I refined it at 2am. But most of my MVPs I use my +16 imperial spear - does well with elemental converters to applicable monsters. So you have enough to play your RG well. So for me because it continues to give bonus the higher the refine, even with diminishing returns, it gives flexibility in case you decide to mix and match gears so you don’t end up stacking.

Also my 2500ish ores I refined continuously. I wasn’t prepared to stop until I get my plate to 14. Total time 90minutes. I don’t think continuous, logging off, intermittent/interrupted sessions make a difference.

bro you could have sold 25 boxes for 20b+ and bought 2 or 3 hero plates at +14. If you used 2.5k ores in one sitting i'm very interested in observing your video. would be interesting to see how many attempts you got at +14 and how many +13 succes as well. please upload video it would be epic as no one has ever used 2.5k ores in one sitting usually 500-600 ores at a time only.

very nice, i always make as many +12 and some +13 items to sell to profit or at least break even in case RNG ditches me when trying +14 but only on acc bound items such as kvm and bio 5. I can easily sell many +12 and +13 and buy all the +14 gear i will ever need but this takes alot of patience and preparation.
