Sorry if this has been answered, but after looking around, I'm seeing conflicting answers.

 

Does a sidewinder card work when slotted in a bow for long-ranged attacks by archer classes like ranger?

 

This question pertains to Renewal btw.

Because there are far superior upper headgears.

 

As for your question, I never really bothered testing it, but assumed that Double Attack would take priority over Fear Breeze. Fear Breeze when it procs is superior to Double Attack, since it will do a minimum of 2 hits and a maximum of 5.

Even if it didn't, sidewinder is only a 5% DPS increase at most, and only for autoattacks.

It works. But for Ranger only 5% chance for Lv1 DA. Fear Breeze is much stronger for ranger.
Sidewinder card is the best if used by Thief char because will have max effect as Lv10 DA. As u can see in this SC video below.
