Should work the same with golem / VR / cornutus cards, the difference with the first two lies in card equipment sockets which grants indestructible properties to both body armors and weapons. Take it as golem & cornutus cards combo in single equipment sockets.
If yours still break then the effects are still bugged and let camp know ASAP for immediate fix.
