Elemental Converter is no longer working with Cart Cannon?

I'm pretty darn sure it still is working. +15 2x Kingbird Crimson Mace, Neutral. Iron Cannons. 120+19 INT, no other gear at all.

 

 

Used Wind Converter, booped a Poring. 21k. Double changed weapons, "Weapon has changed back to normal", CC'd again and 16k.
