WP: Don't you worry dear, we have an upcoming leech gear which is powerful than the nerfed EDA and other leech gears combined. 

 

If I'm not mistaken, the SP leech is still good and a workaround, is still with Succubus Pet. If only they could fast track the pet update.

Dear WP,

Regarding this EDA nerf, I humbly ask you guys to put your self in a situation like this in the point of view of a customer.

Please do not take this the wrong way. I do not try to offend WP. This merely a reflection of how we feel as your customer.

After working so hard you managed to bought a brand new Honda Sedan.

Few months later, you received a call:

- Honda Customer Service : "Dear valued customer, we would like to inform you that to keep up with our headquarter in Japan, per tomorrow we will recall all four wheels of your car."
- You : "Say What?! Why?"
- Honda Customer Service : "Yes Sir, All cars in Japan no longer use wheels, they just float somehow. So we need to 'fix' and update our cars in US by removing your wheels."
- You : "But that is not fair! I spent Dollars to get this car and you have never mentioned about this when I bought it."
- Honda Customer Srevice : "We understand your frustration, and because of that we will delay the recall for the next 3 months."
- You : "That does not change a thing..."

Question: How do you feel as the customer?

I do not know if this is really a mandatory to nerf EDA with consequences of letting your customers down again after spartacus.

Also I would like to kindly emphasis in the future the importance of informing the customer if an item going to have a different effect whenever you release a new one.
So that It would be fair to us and at least we will not feel cheated.

Its Fix not nerf, u can blame WP because they bring broken ocp, but this is not nerf.

Remember when people crying for Enforce Shoes nerf effect? now u guys get real effect, then other ocp need fix too.

Well, indeed many of you are considering the EDA change as a nerf. The EDA works, works pretty good, indeed its the best leech gear i've tested so far, the only change is that it will no longer work with vanargand helm, in wich case, WP can make the move as put the combo script in the vanargand helm and voila! since is not a OCP item (cash shop) it will not fall under the 3 months rule.

 

Its a combo effect, similar to Adventurer's Spirit + Antique Book, Imuke Upper Shield + Horn Card, Cloak of Survival + Deviling Card, Consultation Robe + Valky Manteau + Deviling Card, Hero Cape + Deviling Card, and so on.

 

The item itself has no change at all in its effect.

Got the report that TE didn't start on time.
 
What happened: On the Chaos server we failed to set WoE TE start time to its new time properly.
 
How it happened: Looking at the server the time change was a not applied because we used the pre refine event config files to turn off the Mad Bunny event. Since these share the same config the old pre event time was used.
 
How were going to fix it: Since WoE has to start on the hour we can't start TE mid 7-8am. This will 100% be taking effect this next week during maintenance. This change will be applied before the 1/12 WoE TE.

Please note that this maintenance caused certain monsters to have their job exp nerfed heavily including Big Bells.

 

Please fix this and consider what compensation is appropriate given that big bells alone has been an 84% reduction of job EXP.

Monster EXP was not changed during this maintenance. Big Bell exp has remained unchanged for a very long time except in cases where the map is spotlighted.
