Banking System

[*]Allow the deposit and withdrawal of zeny via the storage system. When opening storage, there would be a section on the bottom bar of the window that says #/#. This would be an indicator of how much zeny is left in storage out of how much zeny in total you have. Next to the numbers would be an entry box and next to it 2 buttons. You enter in the amount in the box and the buttons next to the box would be one to deposit zeny into storage and one to withdraw zeny from storage. Of course, for those with insanely large amounts of zeny, this could pose a problem in terms of displaying zeny amounts.
[*]Have a bank available in every town which will allow players to deposit and withdraw zeny. Players are limited to one bank account per server (for a total of 2 bank accounts per RO account since there's only 2 servers). Each player must open his/her own bank account by visiting the bank NPC located within a bank and select a "Let Me Open An Account" option. The player would then be prompted to type in a 4-digit pin code and confirm it by typing it in again. This would be the password required to withdraw zeny from your bank. Changing the pin number would require visiting the open-account NPC and entering:
Enter current PIN
Enter new PIN
Confirm new PIN
for security purposes. Transfers between game account bank accounts would be prohibited to prevent account hacking.

Every city has a NPC that for a fixed service cost of 1000z exchanges your zeny for tickets, each one 1000z worth.
Those tickets are account bound and can be put into storage.
The same NPC exchanges back the tickets into zeny, always for a fixed service cost of 1000z.
Batch conversions are allowed.
(screenshot courtesy of my wife)
EX:
- Char A in Prontera converts 100000z in 100 tickets, paying a 1000z service cost.
- Char A puts the 100 tickets in the storage
- Char B in Juno get the 100 tickets from the storage
- Char B converts 100 tickets into 100000z, paying a 1000z service cost
This makes a very simple and safe way to transfer money between characters on the same account.

They even thought a place that fits it (Lighthalzen bank) but they fear a lot of possible exploits that leads to infinite zeny for example.
Look at the mailing system, everyone thought it was safe, but someone find a way to exploit it.
And if they put that system I hope they use a menu (1, 10, 100), instead of a input. For some reason I feel more secure if they do with a menu.

That was already in questions of the ustream thing they do.

It's very difficult to make anything completely secure, especially in a game like this. They just have to take care of it when it happens and keep patching it for new holes that are discovered... Kind of unlike this whole mail thing, which has now been down for... What, 3-4 months?

Recently visited the Lighthalzen bank and according to the NPCs in there and what I've heard over the years, THAT was supposed to be the actual zeny bank the developers were going to implement into the game. But now it's just yet another dormant feature that will never get used. They even thought a place that fits it (Lighthalzen bank) but they fear a lot of possible exploits that leads to infinite zeny for example.
