FOC.
RH for SCAD, but IDK if the lack of skill crit makes it worth it over the FOC.
S1 EL for HP / def raiding maybe. Or just S1 fans...

WTB S1 EL shoulders, hammerine o.o

It depends.

EV is a nuker gear, but die faster. Unless you are smart player, than EV is the way. :)

S2 Everlasting prob has some resists in too. IDK without going and looking and I can't be arsed :)

I'm using 3 parts S1 EL (4 if I can find shoulders) and upper/lower S2 RH, because that's what I found at the time and was going for survivability - I was druid up til 67 and JC'd to help with buffing raids. Regret it :)

Anyways, best listen to people that know how to play Elem heh!

Ah, you stuck in Ele.

If you want, roll another toon for Druid.
Need help, just ask me, I can help with RoL and SL.

Especially with event, you should reach in lv65 in 3 days (Prem) / 5 days (Free).

FOC set overall good
S1 Everlasting Sun if hp enchanted or possibly just for defense boost.
Splendid (RH) Set if you are alright with losing skill crit chance for higher skill critical damage.
S2 Everlasting sun doesn't have scad or con.

Yeah, I just get the Crit%.

Which means I don't need to fully twink my jewels to get it (poor man's way).

But basically it's how you play.
If you solo a lot -> more CON and DEF.
If you stick with the team -> who cares of CON and DEF, go full nuke!!!

Already been scud'ed by many Sins, 5K HP don't mean crap.
So might as well Nuke'em and get as much contribution if not kill them in the process. lol

Glass Cannon for the win!!!

I'm not levelling another druid o.O
Got enough toons as it is, and I'm slowly levelling a domi too.

End of the day, OP, depends on how you want to play your toon - PvP, PvE, or bit of both.
Still, I'd say definitely go for the FOC set in any situation, because the SCAD is useful in dungeon grinds and bosses, as well as PvP.

4% extra crit is nothing when you crit people for 600 dmg...

foc set best.

if you have plenty of item mall available rh set could be not bad, if you can highly reinforce your earrings for con, exi or rare ofc. and enchant like 6/7 slots with ion mine skill crit

72 and 75 sets are great too, similar to shammy, elem has lots of great sets and their hp buff lets them achieve higher dmg without being super squishy

I wouldnt go for the RH set to be honest. Its slightly harder to reinforce then the FOC set... it cant be sold and it has no CON... though, the RH set looks nice :)

and I still have no idea why elems would go for everlasting sun gear... no SCAD no CON... its just crap (in my opinion)

Wait...

Your question is vague.

When you say best gear. Best gear in what?

Solo'ing?
Team play?
Buffing?
PvE?
Maxing Contribution Points in PvP BG?
Maxing Kill Count in PvP BG?

Just a tip in maxing contribution points in battleground.
You can ride your Rex and I've been hit on my Rex with a critical of 7K (and did not dismount). :)

...the RH set looks nice :)

This is why hehe.

My elem is purely a raid buffer, so I don't need stats for it. And I got the RH from the raids anyways heh

He meant best overall really. It's FoC set then pride set imo. 72 Destruction maaaybe. It has no int but ups scad unlike 75 set. However elem does have a nice hp buff and can get a cool con wand...

how about weapons? staff or wand?
Magic Swallower? Staff of the Infinite VI?
Wand of the Infinite? Moonlight Magic Wand?

I heard if you plus TB reward staff/wand, it doesnt increase dmg but only resists?

Thats true... but the base damage of those items is quite high already, sadly it doesnt go up when you reinforce it.

Only use a staff when its a 'Staff of the infinite VI'. It adds a nice amount of Skill Crit Add. Damage(SCAD) and a nice amount of skill crit %.

Wand + Magic shield is overall better.

I only took the Theme Battle Staff because I didnt want to spend to much lants and it adds a nice amount of SCAD... which i enjoy :D

Because it does everything staff can do but with extra stats and less a gap between high and low damage.
