An enchanted muffler once worn by a mysterious assassin during missions. It is made to move faster than anyone else.

Reduces damage taken from Player race enemies by 5%.

  • 15352 → Nature Dress
    • Reported Issues:
      Wrong ingame sprite. Investigating. Fixed
  • 22145 → Tengu Shoes
    • Reported Issues:
    • Not applying ATK% as advertised. (Report #). Investigating. ETA for a fix: Next weekly maintenance.
      Casting time reduction is being applied to all skills instead of the stated. (Report #Investigating. ETA for a fix: Next weekly maintenance.
      For every level known of Gentle Touch-Energy Gain,
      Reduces the variable casting time of Summon Spirit Sphere by 10%.

Describe the issue: Tengu shoes is not working the 20% Atk (4% Atk per lvl of Gentle Touch-Silence). And its reducing all delays of any skill, not just the Gentle Touch-Energy Gain bonus.

It's not delay, it's fixed cast reduction, but yes it is doing that, it really should be fixed.

How are you testing the ATK % increase? With a weapon or barehanded?

How are you testing the ATK % increase? With a weapon or barehanded?

 

As for the casting time, that will be looked into.

I tested the two modes, both without any equipment and using only the boot as well as completely equipped, the damage showed the same using and not using the boot.
 

I tested the two modes, both without any equipment and using only the shoes as well as completely equipped, the damage showed the same using and not using the boot. Fully equipped had a small change in damage, but almost imperceptible, not compatible with the increase proposed by the shoes bonus. And yes, I'm using all bonus skills in lvl max.

 

Damage no equipaments:

It's working correctly, it's just diluted damage.

 

20% sounds like a lot on paper, but it adds to your existing amount.

 

2x AK, Brooch of Hero, 1x DH, 1x Mad Bunny, that alone is 110%, so it goes from 110% -> 130% with the shoes, which isn't a HUGE amount. Combine that with your weapon upgrade level of +15 and you will find the variance to be crazy.

Explains why no equipament at all and only with the shoes the damage dos not change?

To clarify this testing method, equipment that grants % ATK requires a weapon. Odin's Power buffs the user by adding raw(?) ATK, in which serves as a replacement to weapons. It is an easy alternative test method. I hope this makes some sense.

It was giving the full % increase just in the wrong section of the formula (due to function call on the item) were updating it to give the expected results.

issue (?): general percentage-based fixed cast reduction is indistinct to skill-specific fixed cast reduction

 

description: with GT energy gain lvl 5, wearing tengu shoes and glorious fist (or having sacrament buff) results in having the same zen cast time as only equipping one or the other; so the game scripts appear to not differentiate between general and skill-specific effects.

background info: normally, only the highest % value of fixed cast reduction applies (or only applies once for identical values), but since the introduction of skill-specific effects, wouldn't there be multiplicative stacking (e.g. 0.5*0.5) since they are distinct script-wise? compare this to keraunos with lightning ride variable cast (2x keraunos stack additively = insta-cast LR; 1x keraunos + other general variable cast reducs stack multiplicatively = not insta, unless the general reducs are already -100% total). 

 

although not sure if this is intended or there is some technical difficulty with the scripts, hence the "?".

 

am actually surprised the shoes even have this effect for zen, since the original item does not mention anything about fixed cast; *cough* "consistency".

 

jiisasu why do i even bother; do i enjoy being greedy and playing sura that much? heh.

For Tengu Shoes and Zen casting time effect, I was informed -it is intended that only the highest FCT bonus is applied. As for the item effect according to studio and checking made by the iRO team the 10% FCT reduction for Zen is the intended effect of the item.
